Are we living in the "end times".(Christian)
The Bible does say that no one knows, only the father. But there are definite signs.
But I believe that everyone's end times are their own. (Unless you are alive when Jesus returns.)
When each of us dies, that will be our end times. Be prepared.

The bible tells us that we don't know the "day or hour" of Christ return. But in Mathew 24, the disciples asked Jesus WHEN...shall these things be. WHAT shall be the Sign of thy coming AND the end of the world. Jesus gave us the first SIGN that 'birth pangs' are here even before the disciples asked the question.

Mathew 24:2...
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

There are stones that haven't been thrown down...

The falling of the Western Wall is the first sign that 'tribulation' is here.

Providentially I was talking with a brother in our hall yesterday that got really mad at Raymond Franz, when at a convention he said that next year, (referring to 1975) the Lord will come. It was very irresponsible!

Ah yes, put the blame on someone that your leaders have marked as "apostate". What about the literature they were handing out?

Yes, the end of this system is so very near! Is that not reason to increase our activity? In this regard we can learn something from a runner who puts on a final burst of speed near the finish of a race. Look at Jesus, who apparently stepped up his activity during his final days on earth. In fact, over 27 percent of the material in the Gospels is devoted to just the last week of Jesus’ earthly ministry!—Matt. 21:1–27:50; Mark 11:1–15:37; Luke 19:29–23:46; John 11:55–19:30.
By carefully and prayerfully examining our own circumstances, we also may find that we can spend more time and energy in preaching during this final period before the present system ends. Many of our brothers and sisters are doing just that. This is evident from the rapidly increasing number of pioneers.
Yes, since the summer of 1973 there have been new peaks in pioneers every month. Now there are 20,394 regular and special pioneers in the United States, an all-time peak. That is 5,190 more than there were in February 1973! A 34-percent increase! Does that not warm our hearts? Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining before the wicked world’s end.—1 John 2:17.

Saint Malachy prophesied this current Pope would be our last before the proverbial "golden age", talked of by Crowley. So either saint malachy has erroneous prophecy, or we are darn close. Don't worry though, the end times "nations" will be a safe haven under a particular archangel, seen by some disciples, and described in detail as "one like unto the son of man", by saint john of patmos. Amen.

Deism is dead
I'm curious about the "end times" spoken of in the Bible, notably Revelation.
Revelation 20:1–3 is probably the only clue we have as to whether we are living in the end times, besides various prophecies of soothsayers like Nostrodamus orSt. Malachy, whoever he was.

Satan arising up out of the abyss fortells of a world that will become hopelessly deceived, one again (from the amillennialist perspective). I think that time is and has come upon us. A general apostasy from Christianity and the establishment of secularism as a religion is evident everywhere, especially in the former Christian powers. The rise of non-belief is endemic. Churches are being turned into mosques on a grand scale. The law of God is abandoned, Europe at least given over to Islam. This speaks to me of the end times.

please refer to gnostic scriptures on the coming of the age...revelation draws from Gnostic, Egyptian, and more... There were many said scriptures, coveted by the apostles and preserved by holy men. When Christ resurrected he taught beyond the gospels to those that would know and listen, then he went to his Father... the John, who wrote revelation, was the same John of patmos who was beloved by Christ... He and his brother James sought knowledge and were regarded as sons of thunder because along with many other phenomena, they could call lightning down on the ungodly... This short period of time after christs departure from this Earth was filled with magicks and sorceries that have since been forgotten, locked up, or burned... One thing stands alone in extra biblical apocrypha, that there will be One angel chosen to bring forth the wrath of the Father, who rules every heaven and below with his son Christ, firstborn of the grave... And this angel is said to hold a scepter, and to be in charge of death itself, wielding keys to it and the Pit, or Hades... There is no way for any reign of Jesus to start on Earth until the Dragon has been locked away by this angel... Hope this helps.

Who knows? Better to assume yes. We must always be watchful and ready to give an account before God.

There is no doubt in my mind. How long til, who knows. But I feel like we are definitely getting close. There is no doubt we live in Satans world surrounded by his servants.

I believe we are in the end times. I believe the end is very near. I believe in a rapture.

Jesus said, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done."
(Mark 13:28-30)

Careful study has led many people to understand that the "fig tree" is symbolic of Israel. We should all know that Israel did not exist as a nation since it was destroyed in 70AD. Like the cursed fig tree of Mark 11:12-14, Israel had withered from the roots up. Yes, Israel was uprooted, and it was God's punishment for bearing no fruit. But in the latter part of 1948, that changed, and that seemingly dead tree, became alive again. Israels first elections took place in February of 1949.

"The presence of a fruitful fig tree was considered to be a symbol of blessing and prosperity for the nation of Israel. Likewise, the absence or death of a fig tree would symbolize judgment and rejection. Symbolically, the fig tree represented the spiritual deadness of Israel, who while very religious outwardly with all the sacrifices and ceremonies, were spiritually barren because of their sins. By cleansing the Temple and cursing the fig tree, causing it to whither and die, Jesus was pronouncing His coming judgment of Israel and demonstrating His power to carry it out."
Read more:Why did Jesus curse the fig tree?

Now we have Jesus speaking of a fig tree with tender branches in the end times. That is, we see Jesus telling us about a future Israel that is not actually dead, but an Israel coming back to life, with tender branches. And that when we see this, we will know that the time of the end is very near just as it is true that when the leaves of a fig tree come forth, we also know that summer is near. He says that "this generation will not pass, till all these things be done. He's saying that there is a generation of people that shall see Israel become a nation again and that this is the generation that will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory and also see the end come to pass.

So, there is a generation of people that are living today that was alive when the fig tree's (Israel's) branch was yet tender that shall see the end of days. I believe that a generation is on average about 70 years. I don't know if God uses averages or not. Maybe He will use a real person's life to represent "this" generation that He is referring to. And don't forget the Great Tribulation must take place for 3.5 years before the end. We've got a solar eclipse coming soon, and two more blood moons coming in the spring and fall of 2015. Remember, the fall of 2015 is the mark of the beginning of a 3.5 year period of time that ends in 2019, the 70th year after Israel had it's first elections.

I don't know if the end is now. But if there were ever a good time for the end to take place, it's right now, and so of course, I'll be watching.

A generation is 40 years.

The Tribulation took place in the past when Roman legions destroyed Jerusalem and its temple in AD 70 during the end stages of the First Jewish–Roman War, and it only affected the Jewish people rather than all mankind.

Why would Jesus tell them to flee to the mountains if they were going to be "raptured"?

In Matthew 24:15, Jesus says when the abomination of desolation is seen, flee to the mountains. He addressed this saying to “them that be in Judea.” They did. They fled to Pella.

Just adding(from Daniel 11 and 12) a period period and a half till these event take place would be 2500 years from 500BC (Daniel) to 2000AD. the 1290 years since the end of the jewish sacrifice(700-800AD???) till the establishment of the abomination that causes desolation, has to be the nuclear bomb ie 1945. Blessed is he that makes it to 1335 years, which would be 1990 roughly the end of the Persian gulf war, and this I'm not sure but could the resurrection have already happened and we are the resurrected characters from history living today, just one possible interpretation.

Daniel 11 is talking about Darius and Cyrus and Babylon being defeated.

Also consider when calculating Prophecy that the Holy land has more than one calendar. Remember that the Muslim Ottaman empire had control over the Holy Land for many a year and their calendar is different, a luna calendar. Wheras the Gregorian calander is a solar. An example would be AD1844 is AH1260.

The Bible could reflect this.

THE ERROR OF LIFTING "THE LAST DAYS" OUT OF THEIR 1ST CENTURY HISTORICAL CONTEXT AND ATTEMPTING TO RE-APPLY THEM TO OUR TIMES, TODAY.

Comment: The problem, every mention of "the last days" or equivalents [last times, last hour, etc.] in the New Testament Scriptures refers to the 1st Century CE. There are no exceptions. Check: Hebrews 1:2; Acts 2:17; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:1; James 5:3; 2 Peter 3:3; Jude 18; 1 John 2:18.
