Praying to Father in Jesus' Name. What is the Name?

if christians ask something of the Father in Jesus' name, is that name "Jesus" or is that the name by which a prophet was sent and which comes from exodus 3:14?

John 10:25
Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

John 5:43
I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.

Exodus 3:14
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

I don't know. I think Moses was probably a literary device.

I had always understood it as being the name of Jesus (as per John 14:1-15) which had already been exalted by Paul in his Epistle to the Philippians roughly 30 - 50 years prior (Philippians 2:9-10).

I don't know, honestly.
Theologically, I'm a little rusty as it's not my scripture anymore.

It seems to be a bit of a mixed message.
I will say that when I was Christian, I was Trinitarian, and so I viewed them as ultimately the same.

god created all of mankind in his image. he didn't just create one man in his image. this is why you are to call no man on earth father, because you have one Father in heaven.
