That opens up a whole new world of kink. I am surprised at the different fetishes that some people have. Which reminds me of yesterday's New York Times crossword puzzle in the local paper (which means it ran last Saturday in NY). Saturday is always the hardest puzzle of the week and it had more kink than any other puzzle of theirs than I have ever seen before.

Bet you didnt pop in for a coffee!!!
Sadly no. I did not know if that protest of theirs. That was reported in the local paper.

Sadly that is true. The local city council got all worked up because a few of these shop opened up in town. Can't get the men folk riled up by women that are exposing too much skin (no naughty bits are visible).

I was not bothered by it. I got a good laugh at the first appearance of "manscaping" that I had ever seen in a crossword. Along with " pansexual ", "dominatrix", and "comeout" I think that the puzzle creator was trying to tell us something.

I thought your city was taking its cue from Demark

To each their own. For some reason I do not think that it would have the same effect.

For half the population it would

Edit

Topless men can be seen everywhere. Not every beach is like those of the French. And for some reason we poor men seem to get distracted more easily. Hmm, it is early morning and I have not had my coffee yet.

Coffee, now ya talking

There is a reason i dont do left over coffee. I think you just realised what it is
It might be time to invest in a French press again. Sadly my old one was sabotaged by my housemates drug using son. I did not feel like buying another. Make a cup or two at a time and so much more enjoyable.

In the news today.....
How robots will kill the 'gig economy'

Of course, many others notice that automation & smart machines will upset the apple cart.
So I get no credit for stating the obvious.
But I've been yelling about it a lot....& will continue.
I've no solution.
Anyone?

The solution is UBI and the rich culture having UBI will create. Culture is the only answer. The larger the population the better because there will be more interesting things to do because of culture. If money get's concentrated in too few hands it is in the billionaires enlightened self-interests to finance as much culture as possible. Abject poverty for billions of people around the globe is just boring. This no utilitarian purpose of having the Olympics but it gives super rich people something exiting to do. This is why promoting culture and having UBI is so important.

Presidential candidate Andrew Yang makes an excellent argument why UBI is so important and how millions of workers will be displaced by the 4th industrial revolution:

Contrary to the irrational exuberance about artificial intelligence, computer programs are pretty stupid.

I used to have my own blend specially mixed. I would grind it by hand and cook it either in a caffetiere (french press) or a filter machine.

Now i use pods in a dalce gusto machine, much quicker, easier, always fresh and quite a reasonable coffee.

UBI has been advocated by some libertarians (CATO) for decades.
It sure beats the loony calls for socialism.

Some indisputable facts.
- Humans are not improving.
- AI is improving.
Tis all a matter of when.
