reflection in a mirror

I don't disagree. However, over time I have determined that we exist in what I see as a "concrete illusion". In other words, if you step off a tall building you will probably fall to your death. No matter how much you wish to believe that gravity is an illusion, it is not. But if you want to look at the entire experience of living this episode you may find that the premise is a contrived riddle, an illusion. If you accept this part of your existence as the illusion, you would have no emotional reason to step off the building in the first place, imho.
Agree with you on this. We still have to live within the dhamma law and that means physical rules. Hit by a truck you will be squashed

When we see something we investigate what we see but a question that arise is, is the physical wold actually real? or is it our mind that create it from our thoughts?
Example is when we sit in deep meditation and experience that the world around us and the body disapear. can we say that the world exist then?
Sure. The universe doesn't go away simply because you close your eyes. In meditation, the experience that the body disappears is an *experience*, but need not reflect what goes on in reality.

/E: Have someone else sit beside you and ask them if your body went away for them.

it is not so that only when we use the 5 senses that we can experience the world as seen with our physical eyes?
When the wisdom eye (third eye) opens we can see that the world is not as physical as we was taught?

Well, I don't know the sensory capabilities of this third eye, so cannot say.

I can only answer for my own meditation practice, and the body and world around do actually disapear when you go deep enough in the meditation. The total freedom that arise is more then can be explained with words. And what can be felt is pur joy. All there is left is awarness

And I don't deny you have such an experience. But does someone else sitting next to you agree your body disappeared?

My fianceè was looking for me and found only an empty pillow i normally sit on when meditating. And she was aware of that i was meditating in the moment.
I know this is only words, I do not know if i would be able to video film it but if that is possible i might try that in the future.

When you look in to a mirror, is it your self you see? or who is the person in the mirror?
Question is related to the post about ego.

I see what other people see, the physical aspect of my face which I see as familiar but still somehow strange. I dont "own" my physical appearance much at all. I let my wife guide me in that department.

When you look into the mirror, what do you see in the black part of your eye?

hopefully.....a reflection that can stand before God and heaven

I believe heaven seeks a reflection of it's self

it is written.....heaven is within you

In the Tibetan Book of the Dead you face demons of your own creation as you travel down the path to reincarnation. Along the way, you have multiple opportunities to have a Buddhahood realization, or you turn away and continue down the path to reincarnation and continue to be tortured by demons of your own creation. Eventually, if you keep turn away, you get reincarnated living to someone living in New Jersey. The cool thing about New Jersey is there is only Heaven after you live here.

If the light and magnification are sufficient, my retina.

Obviously you did not look. It's like two opposing mirrors but something different.

It is just an eye :)

If you look into the black part you will see a reflection of your own face. And in the eye of that reflection is another face. It becomes like two opposing mirrors in a strange loop of endless feedback.

Strange loops are funny things. They make the mind awaken to new possibilities.

The next sentence is true.
The previous sentence is false.

The experience of paradox in semantics transcends normal modes of consciousness. Have you ever thought about what your brain is doing between thoughts? Reflections in the semantic mirror are the most profound.

There is only one eye that one look at, the others are reflection of the first eye.

Our minds are like 100 buckets of water reflecting an image of the moon. It's separate but the same.

One sees this "paradoxical" imagery because one is seeing one's own reflection on the reflective surface of the cornea, and the black backdrop of the pupil enhances the reflection.

Nothing strange or unusual about it.
