Saint Muammar Gaddafi

Obama and NATO were the "bad guys" when it came to that. We had no business overthrowing a sovereign government and installing a puppet government. We destroyed Libya and it's still in chaos. I don't care what you think about Gaddafi. I already have my views on him. There's no way you can argue that Libya is better off now. Iraq was also better off under Saddam and even Afghanistan was better off under the Taliban, despite how disgusting they are. Every time we set out to overthrow a government and nation build, it ends up being a disaster. We need to leave those people alone and focus on our own homeland.

Except Jordan, Qatar and the UAE also contributed.

This is what really bugs me about people- apparently Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar,Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt are involved in some Zionist conspiracy alongside the West despite those countries being Muslim

No they aren't involved in any Zionist conspiracy. They want peace in Lebanon and Palestine.. That's what they have always wanted. Iran prevents that.

And those countries are the source of most of the problems in the Muslim world. SA is ultimately responsible for the Sunni terrorist movements since they spread hardline versions of Islam throughout the world.

NO .. KSA is NOT responsible for terrorists and Wahhabi isn't hardline. You have been listening to too many instant-pundits who learned a new word 20 years ago,

OBL and Muhammed Atta were Deobandi and Muslim Brotherhood, not Wahhabi.

Actually you'll find it's Syria (keeps starting wars with Israel), Nigeria,Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and Pakistan that has the terrorists. Yet the braindead Liberals blame the Gulf Arabs for siding with America and Israel (even though Israelis aren't allowed in to those countries)

I saw your apologetics for KSA in that other thread, @sooda. I was not impressed then and I'm not impressed now.

@ronki23, I already know you're a Zionist so I'm not surprised you're carrying water for them here. You didn't answer my question in that other thread, by the way.

I am not a Zionist.. I think its another pernicious ISM and a racist form of nationalism.

I'm not a Zionist; I support Israel out of necessity i.e. the terrorists support Palestine so I have to be against them

That makes no sense. There's been pro-Israel terrorists, FYI.

Al Qaeda killed Egyptian President Sadat just because he made peace with Israel
One of the founders of Al Qaeda, Abdullah Yousef Assam is a Palestinian; as are Mohammed Odeh and Abu Anas al-Shami.

Bin Laden's views on Israel

a) You attacked us in Palestine:

(i) Palestine, which has sunk under military occupation for more than 80 years. The British handed over Palestine, with your help and your support, to the Jews, who have occupied it for more than 50 years; years overflowing with oppression, tyranny, crimes, killing, expulsion, destruction and devastation. The creation and continuation of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of its criminals. And of course there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased. Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its*price, and pay for it heavily.

(ii) It brings us both laughter and tears to see that you have not yet tired of repeating your fabricated lies that the Jews have a historical right to Palestine, as it was promised to them in the Torah. Anyone who disputes with them on this alleged fact is accused of anti-semitism. This is one of the most fallacious, widely-circulated fabrications in history. The people of Palestine are pure Arabs and original Semites. It is the Muslims who are the inheritors of Moses (peace be upon him) and the inheritors of the real Torah that has not been changed. Muslims believe in all of the Prophets, including Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all. If the followers of Moses have been promised a right to Palestine in the Torah, then the Muslims are the most worthy nation of this.

When the Muslims conquered Palestine and drove out the Romans, Palestine and Jerusalem returned to Islaam, the religion of all the Prophets peace be upon them. Therefore, the call to a historical right to Palestine cannot be raised against the Islamic Ummah that believes in all the Prophets of Allah (peace and blessings be upon them) - and we make no distinction between them.

(iii) The blood pouring out of Palestine must be equally revenged. You must know that the Palestinians do not cry alone; their women are not widowed alone; their sons are not orphaned alone.

Bin Laden's views on Israel
So? (Bin Laden was a rich Saudi, and most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis. KSA doesn't want much investigation into its role in those attacks.) You ignore that there's pro-Israel terrorists. Even a lot of the white supremacist far-right has switched from their traditional anti-Semitism to hating Muslims and supporting Israel, due to the influence of the alt right.

Prince Muhammad bin Salman wants to open up Saudi Arabia to all religions. The Saudi Royal family are pretty secular.

I also loved Dubai and Sharjah but i'm too scared to visit the Middle East in case they see my anti-Islam (anti extremism really).

Lol, hilarious.

Do you remember the details of the Saudi Peace initiative of 2002?

We were all so optimistic.. and then to sweeten the deal King Fahd ordered a study to rebuild TAPLINE with a spur to Haifa. The Arab world was busy planning infrastructure development and jobs for the Palestinians believing that was the best way to secure the peace.

21 Arab state signed on … including Syria.

Six of the hijackers are unknown because they were traveling on stolen IDs. But, Saudi students have had a quick route to visas since 1950 whereas getting a US visa in other countries in the ME is far more difficult.

KSA yanked OBL's citizenship in 1994 and declared AQ a terrorist outfit.. OBL wanted the 9-11 attack to have a Saudi face so the US would attack KSA.
