Maybe I should have been more specific as to what will happen to the "daughters of Zion" (
Isaiah 3:18-26).
Who the hell is taking away jewelry from the "daughters of Zion?"
As for oppressing children, for the most part, they oppress their parents.
How do they specifically oppress their parents? Cite sources.
A lot of it could be Karma, whereas their parents revolted and oppressed their own parents. What goes around comes around.
Rebellion in adolescents is a normal and even necessary function of becoming an adult. It helps establish a person's identity and moral values. Kids have been rebelling since before the stone age.
And women and men may not know it, but rings coming out of lips, noses, belly buttons, breast, are all pretty unappealing to the general population.
That depends entirely on culture. And sometimes even various subcultures.
Also you do realize that in other cultures those are seen as attractive and even status symbols, so clearly there are general populations who disagree with your assessment.
And it has no medicinal value.
So what? I said it was a traditional medical practice, not that it was scientifically proven to be beneficial. People are allowed to have their own medicines. We even allow people here to opt out of actual medical beneficial practices due to their religious convictions.
Tongue piercing can be very painful, especially when they get infected. One girl I knew, had an infected tongue piercing, and her tongue became enlarged to the point she could hardly talk. And they pay to have that done, and undone.
Yeah and I once knew a guy who was bitter about being circumcised, complained about it being painful and even felt emasculated by it. So what?
All of this is still insufficient to proving anything about any sign of judgement. They've been happening for literally generations. Thus my comment of judgment day being thousands of years overdue still stands.
Isaiah 3:18-26 18 In that day the LORD will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces, 19the earrings and bracelets and veils, 20 the headdresses and anklets and sashes, the perfume bottles and charms, 21the signet rings and nose rings, 22the fine robes and the capes and cloaks, the purses 23and mirrors, and the linen garments and tiaras and shawls. 24Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a sash, a rope; instead of well-dressed hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding. 25 Your men will fall by the sword, your warriors in battle. 26The gates of Zion will lament and mourn; destitute, she will sit on the ground.

Simply chucking random scripture at me doesn't do anything. It's not an argument of anything. I can quote random books too.
“Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men, doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.”
