Physicists reverse time using quantum computer

My grandfather better be careful. And the Enterprise no longer needs a slingshot around the sun at high speed to time travel. Isn't the future just wonderful? Or the past future or the future past or the very confused semi-present? Cue the qubit.

Physicists reverse time using quantum computer

Schrödinger's equation is reversible," adds Valerii Vinokur, a co-author of the paper, from the Argonne National Laboratory, U.S. "Mathematically, it means that under a certain transformation called complex conjugation, the equation will describe a 'smeared' electron localizing back into a small region of space over the same time period." Although this phenomenon is not observed in nature, it could theoretically happen due to a random fluctuation in the cosmic microwave background permeating the universe.
...
Stage 3: Time reversal. A special program modifies the state of the quantum computer in such a way that it would then evolve "backwards," from chaos toward order. This operation is akin to the random microwave background fluctuation in the case of the electron, but this time, it is deliberately induced. An obviously far-fetched analogy for the billiards example would be someone giving the table a perfectly calculated kick.

Doc Brown explained the potential dangers of time travel:

The encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy.

I wonder if they accomplish it whether there will be a practical use for such an effect?

So the argument is available that Now is not a point in time but a segment at least one ten billionth of a second long.

This is a bit of a hyper over statement of what the physicists actually did.

If I go back and kill Adam before he impregnates Eve, there are no physicists to reverse time using a quantum computer.
You have the beginnings of a plan but just need a little help with the details. Read the Edenic text again -- Adam never impregnates Eve. He knows her, and that causes her to have babies. Even if you kill Adam, he still will have known Eve who will still have babies as a result. That's logical since she is made after him. Now...if you were to kill God before he made Adam then there would indeed be no physicists around to reverse time; so with minor changes your plan could work.

If reverse time travel were possible then so alternate realities would exist. If alternate realities exist than being God is possible like on ground hog day if you could maintain memories from experienced realities. That was a cool movie.
