I love groove of this post.

We achieve joy and happiness by helping other people achieve joy and happiness.

But I think there is more here than simply helping others. I believe we are put on this Earth to manifest shreds of God's greatness in our actions and expressions. We are closer to God when we help other people experience God's plentiful blessings on Earth. How different the World would be if large numbers of people were seriously committed to helping themselves and other achieve divine perfection on some focus of activity. Nothing evil of course. Just life affirming actions promoting experiences of oneness with God's greatness.
