Are Bans on Sexual Orientation Conversion Therapy Constitutional?

Some Christians I've spoken with do get confused about intersex persons, but in their defense, this does cast shades of grey into their black and white perspective of morality.

Many/most Native American cultures treat it as if there are 4 genders. Not talking about any LGBT conduct here, or sexual orientation. I try to avoid discussion of those issues.

The Navajo and Nez Perce cultures, I have some limited knowledge of. They see male, female, effeminate male, and masculine female, and for them that is completely normal. I support them.

The way the church treated me in 2004 was criminal. By the time I understood that the Professionals had done criminal things, the statute of limitations had run out.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
No, you need to read and understand the Tampa ordinance. It does not specify that the communication need be in a "therapeutic setting". It is explicitly a speaker-based and content-based restriction on speech.
I was under the impression "in a therapeutic setting" was implied by the "therapy" part of "conversion therapy" in the OP.

The judge did make suggestions on how the ordinance could possibly be fixed. But I'm not sure her suggestions would do the trick -- and she seemed skeptical also.

After my experience in the Mental Health and Pastoral setting on these matters, and I have had direct experience, I would consent to it if they gave me a loaded .45 cal pistol. I am free of those daemons now and they don't get a second chance at me. They said I was gay and deep in sin, when I was married and had had sex with one person in my life!!! I am now unspeakably angry. How could they do what they did to me ????

People are cool I guess
Parents should have the right to get their kids interested in being with the team that plays with different equipment; so then, if its their only child switching to team heterosexual, the parents could someday become grandparents.
So are you saying it’s okay to “convert” someone’s sexuality when most of the time it doesn’t work and often results in forms of ptsd and various other mental disorders?
anyways it’s the kids sexuality not the parents
