in john 14:2 jesus says he will prepare mansions for his believers. And in 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 it says in verse 14 jesus is coming back with those who have fallen asleep. So i think it looks like they might have got their mansions.I need a jw to help me.:(

There are only a relative "few" who will go to heaven and reside in a 'prepared mansion' (or whatever abode spirit beings inhabit.) Jesus said he would come back for them and take them home to where he resides with his Father. But for the majority, life will be restored right here on earth where God put us in the first place.

So yes, Jesus is presently ruling as King and he has resurrected his spiritual "brothers" who were sleeping in death, ready for the Kingdom to take over rulership of this earth. (Daniel 2:44) The end of the present world system will soon come, and then all of Christ's "bride" will be with him in heaven, bringing their rulership to this earth for the benefit of all. (Revelation 21:2-4)

If you read Ecclesiastes 9:5 people are still dead and their souls are still non existent. So how are jesus followers in mansions right now?Like in John 14:2? Because doesn't Ecclesiastes 9:5 say they are no longer here to be in any mansions? Maybe it's because of 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 you and me are confused?
