Sorrym I never heard of Lebowski so your failure to back up your claims seems to show you lack such evidence.

The Big Lebowski..

just your opinion man - Google Search

You are trying to play that "evidence is just opinion" game, which is
tiresome beyond words.

If you believe that there really was a world wide flood, noah,
ark and all, and think there is no information out there to
demonstrate it is pure fantasy, that is ignorant beyond words.

If it pleases you to think otherwise, well, maybe you
need your fantasies. I wont try to wake you from your
state.

Wandering back to ye bible and its degree of accuracy-
Do you hold that Exodus, Adam and Eve, and Noah's
Ark are accurate stories?

You avoided answering before. You really should
say, it is quite the litmus test for people and the
quality of their beliefs!

I would not believe in the biblical God as the Creator of heaven and earth if I did not believe the Bible to be accurate and inerrant (including Genesis, Exodus, Adam & Eve, Noah's Ark, etc.) because this is in keeping with the perfect character of God. God is Holy (Is. 6:3). God is true (Rom. 3:4), God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19;Titus 1:2) and God inspired the writers of the scriptures ( 2 Tim. 3:16), therefore the words are accurate and true. Jesus, Paul, and the other apostles acknowledged the accuracy of the scriptures and referred to the accounts in the OT scriptures, as historical facts and real events.

The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Psalm 119:160

That really does not stand any test of logic except circular reasoning. What possible "Almighty Just Being" would let the horrors we see perpetrated daily, be allowed to exist? Simple answer - there is no interactive interfering God that many believe in.

Of course - the usual rejoinder is "This is a test of faith" - well - what is the reward for keeping the faith?

I'm not going to give a simplistic answer like, "This is a test of faith", but may I ask you a question? Do you think this world with all the horrors we see daily is God's ultimate goal?

The logical answer to my way of thinking is - without understanding the Light - how can we mortals start to understand what an "ultimate goal" is? That pre supposes a knowledge of the entity in the first place.

That may be true. I believe the entity of God has revealed the ultimate plan.

With respect - I appreciate the calm and detached way you attempt to use facts and logic to deconstruct ideas that make little sense -

An eternal, beautiful beyond our imagination, new heaven and a new earth free of sin and suffering.

We do understand the incentive for people to talk
themselves into believing it.

That in the process you must of needs talk
yourself into believing so much
completely outlandish b.s., though- if it gives
you cause for no dismay or doubt, it does
kill your credibility with any educated audience.
