The idea of finality of Religion

If you believe in a revealed religion, and Holy Book, and you believe it is the final religion and Holy Book from God:
What is the logic behind it?
For example, if you believe Christianity and Bible is the final, why is that? What happened that God stopped it, right 2000 years ago? Why not before that? Why not after?
If you are Muslim and believe Quran is the last Holy Book from God, or the Religion of Muhammad is the last, why is that? Why God did not stop it with Jesus or Moses? Why He stopped it 1400 years ago?
Other religions are welcome to express their reasoning.

It is a debate forum. So, if you believe in finality of a religion, can you justify it logically? Doea God in Quran encourage thinking, or discourage thinking? Does He say to accept a belief blindly and with no reason, or He asks to think, and only if logically makes sense, then accept it.? Sure He encourages thinking. So, now, if you believe in finality, how this idea logically makes sense to you. No worries, you dont have to have all the answers. No body does, but, why not give it a thought?

By what the Bible tells, things are not stopped, they still continue and there are several things that will happen.

Religion should stick to morality, community, spirituality, spiritual practice, subjective counsel, philosophy, and matters of faith based on known facts. There is no finality of religion. The holy books dont seem to have much relevance anymore.

There is nothing wrong with believing in eternal life, having a higher power and authority, worshipping that higher power and authority.

Religion should be based on the freedom to accept or reject that religion. Religion should always be open to amendment.

And that is how religion will avoid finality.

Final? The universe continues, there is no final.

We see different religious teachings arise from time to time. because not every religion is for every people. meaning that a person who are morn "in to" a relgion by family is not always feeling this relgion is the right answer to the, so there are other paths one can follow, thsi does not make one religion right and everyone else wrong. it give us choice.

So as a buddhist i found the buddhist teaching to be close to what my own inner spirituality see as right, so even i was born in to a Christian family, christianity was not for me.
