Please enlighten me and tell me what it means.
God does not work without hope, so why you telling one no hope?
You have not born out the MAN yet!
the trinity will tell you how a man is born out of an who-man(Human). I cannot teach you! Only your Father(mind) can. Seek!

Odd that you would not just agree with me.
It is not ODD! Oblivious he isn’t YOU!
Coz the bible tells me so" is not the same as
"knowing".
No(Know) it Ain’t! It’s about understanding! There is a difference! So then! Tell me what is your definition of “To Know and To Understand?”
There are an awful lot of different opinions about what
the bible means. Countless people who will in all
earnest sincerity find a different meaning than you.
And among them many, no doubt, who will say they
know, coz the bible tells them so. Do they?
You are your own truth! Let me ask you though! Do you get a lot of madness in your life? Talking will not make one understand God.
Who is right? Just you?
“Wether you think you can, or you think you can’t. Either way you are right!”

For Roman Catholics the sign of the cross is made using your right hand.

You should touch your forehead at the mention of the Father: showing that it points directly to the mind.
Then lower middle of your chest at the mention of the Son: To the heart(whole body).
And the left shoulder on the word "Holy" and the right shoulder on the word “Spirit”.

Do you know the difference between your right hand and your left hand?

Your right knows more than your left! And left believes more than your right! Your right is more directed from the mind where is your left is more directed from your heart(body). Watch them carefully do(Left) and doing(Right)! You will see both are different. They both don’t trust each other, We are living in sin, therefore your right will sin and left will follow (if) sees it!

Your right hand(spirit) tells you you’ll find the father(mind) through faith in your heart, once you find! The different in left and the right become ‘The Same’: Holy Spirit!

And at the; end: In the Name of The Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Will then the (Three)=(Free) from Who:man(Human) birth out: A MAN(Amen)

Hello! I made this account to ask you all a question and maybe get some opinions. Sorry if this is annoying to read i'm just rambling about my thoughts/questions

I'm fourteen and I was raised till the age of eight maybe nine to believe in god and go to church every Sunday but my family stopped going because we moved states.. my dad and mom have always been faithful but my siblings don't believe in god and I personally don't know if I do either but the issue is, is that I WANT to believe in him. I think the thought of dying and having nothing is pretty terrifying so I really hope at least something exists after death but I can't shake the feeling of doubt- I was always taught to believe in "Santa" and "the tooth fairy" and after I was told those were fake I just assumed god was too because he is almost the same as those made up stories..
I'm really not trying to be offensive to anyone but i'm genuinely distressed about it!! I'm bisexual and my best friend is Lesbian and I don't wan't god to hate me or her for that or anyone for that matter it's frustrating because I feel like even if I do want to believe I can never fully believe :( I do pray sometimes but it's always out of hopelessness and i'm not sure if anyone is even listening to me
It just sucks and I hope if there is a god he can forgive me for sometimes being angry at him or losing faith.
A thought that came to my mind is what was said by a man who had an experience that changed his life, to a life he wanted.
He said, "whoever approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him", otherwise, he says, that person cannot please God.
In my experience, it is people who have proven for themselves, that God is, who usually put in the effort necessary to please God - not self. They do it, not just for a reward... although they want the things you mentioned - life after death, etc., but they realize that their efforts please God, and they themselves benefit. In other words, they find that serving God works well.
So I think a person has to not want to believe in God. They need to examine for themselves if there is good evidence for reasonably doing so, imo.

I am afraid my right hand is not my spirit and my mind is not my father. And the line about "free from human birth" is meaningless words. I will stick with what I can see in the Bible.

Look at it this way - if there is a God, might as well believe that God is loving, just, merciful, all of the good things that you can dream of - there are so many different religious groups, for me - I just pray to "any loving spirits who are willing to listen" -I keep it gender neutral, specific that they must be loving, and that is all I need. If belief in a loving supportive entity will help you through your days - go for it - seek out and believe in something that is loving. If the evil/pain/suffering in the world make it too hard to believe in an all-powerful God, start with loving spirits - who might not be all-powerful, but are at least loving. If you are looking for something with a little more power - that means you have to put more faith in yourself as well - you will have to start justifying a loving God in the face of pain/suffering through free will arguments, and the "whatever does not kill you makes you stronger" - refined in the fire type stuff.... that "we will not appreciate good without having gone through the most horrible bad" type of stuff. That God does not help because "no pain, no gain", and God wants us to experience what we need to gain etc. etc.

You can also concentrate on mindfulness - living in the here and now, without worry for what is to come. If you die and that is the end, then no pain there. If you die, and there is a loving God - then God is love, and there is nothing to worry about there either.

Best wishes to you!

An obsessive search for "god" has done enormous harm
to an awful lot of people.

Esp as, according to the late world news from the
usual unreliable sources-there is no "there" there!

Now now, dont get testy. I've neither "diverted"nor "demeaned",
however delightfully they alliterate.

I agreed that there is archaeological evidence that things
mentioned in the bible are accurate. That is hardly a diversion.
No, you did not agree. You said...

" Uhh... the bible talks about like Noah's ark?
And you say it is historically accurate?

Surely you are joking? Right...?

Of freakin' course there are coins etc. NONE
of it in the remotest way supports any supernatural
claims. You do know that, right?

That is not agreeing to the historical accuracy of the biblical accounts with regard to people, places, and events, but it is diversion to the topic of supernatural elements in the Bible.

You of course, are demeaning the BoM and diverting from the Koran.

But never mind all of that.

You made the statement that "the bible is accurate".

IF by that you mean that bit and pieces here and there,
but none of the supernatural is accurate, great.

IF you mean the whole thing is accurate, that is simply
false. Surely as a good Christian you are not into deliberate
or negligent falsehoods.

So-

When you say "the bible is accurate" what do you mean?

As for the BoM and your incorrect statement that
it has no archaeological support? think again.
Five Compelling Archeological Evidences For the Book of Mormon

You of course also skipped past my mention of Islam, which
like the bible is littered with archaeological and other evidence
that it is, ah, "accurate".

I chose to focus on the BoM as I was once a Mormon, but I really didn't desire to get into an analysis of the either the BoM or the Koran, nevertheless I consider the biblical scriptures to be historically far superior to either the BoM ...

"Since the publication of the Book of Mormon in 1830, Mormon archaeologists have attempted to find archaeological evidence to support it. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and other denominations of the Latter Day Saint movement generally believe that the Book of Mormon describes ancient historical events in the Americas, but historians and archaeologists do not regard it as a work of ancient American history."

...or the Koran...

Are there errors in the Qur’an? – Are there historical inaccuracies?
While the list of historical inaccuracies and anachronisms is vast, one has been selected for discussion here. Surah 20 relays the incident of the golden calf. In Surah 20:85-88, 95 we read:

“He [Allah] said, ‘We have tempted thy people since thou didist leave them. The Samaratin has led them into error.’ Then Moses returned…and we cast them [(gold) ornaments], as the Samaritan also threw them, into the fire.’ (Then he brought out for them a Calf, a mere body that lowed; and they said, ‘This is your god, and the god of Moses, whom he has forgotten.’)…Moses said, ‘And thou, Samaritan, what was thy business?’”

Now, let us consider this for just a moment. How can a Samaritan have led the Israelites astray at the time of Moses (approx 1400 B.C.) when the city of Samaria was founded by King Omri about 870 B.C.? The Samaritans did not exist until after the exile of the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the resettlement of the area under King Sargon II in 722 B.C. with non-Israelites who then adopted a syncretism (mixture) between the religion of the Jews and their own polytheistic background. The Samaritans did not exist until 530 years after Moses. By this mistake alone, the Qur’an can be rendered unreliable and certainly not an inerrant work of God.
Are there errors in the Qur'an (Koran)?

Since I believe the Bible to be historically accurate with far more & continual archeological evidence surfacing to support the events mentioned in the biblical scriptures, over any other religious texts, then I have no reason to doubt not only the historical accounts of people/places, but the supernatural, as well. After all, if the God of the Bible is the Creator of heaven and earth, the God of accurate history, the God of accurate prophetic future, and the God of eternity....how difficult is what humans call "supernatural" for such a Being ?

"Accurate". You know the word is relative. How accurate is kind of
an important detail.

The bibke correctly identifies geographical features, etc.
Nobody is denying that the bible includes real things,
recounted in some degree of detail. I tried to agree with
you on that.

IF you are claimung 100 % accuracy, you are beyond
reason and you can quit here.

If not then you can ponder "how accurate" and how good is good
enough. 5% accurate? 23%? 98.6%? And which part is
right, which wrong?

Or maybe those are thought to avoid.

Sherlock Holmes mysteries accurately describe many
things about London, logic, human nature etc.

Some day, one might not know if it is a true account.

Now as for the whole bible being "accurate" or
"factual", we have all of genesis such as the 6 day
poof, flood, that stuff.

Didn't happen. You want to rely on archaeologists
etc to confirm parts of the bible, but dont like it
when, as they did for BOM, show that facts do not
support the stories?

That is a prime exampke of intellectual
dishonesty if that is what you do, and as
earlier, we can quit right here if so.

As for the parts shown to be true supporting the
parts that cannot be confirmed, and that every bit
of logic, science, and on -the- ground inspection
(plus some freakin' common sense) show to be
fiction..really?

Surely you do not apply that standard to your life.

Any good liar, after all, salts his story with good
facts. Not just liars, it is how historical novels
are done.

Wandering back to ye bible and its degree of accuracy-
Do you hold that Exodus, Adam and Eve, and Noah's
Ark are accurate stories?

You avoided answering before. You really should
say, it is quite the litmus test for people and the
quality of their beliefs!

Are there really FACTS that prove Adam and Eve or Noah's ark or Daviv and Goliath wrong? Or is there just your interpretation of certain things that you think prove them wrong. Can you give examples?

Of course I can.

But I can see where you are going with this, namely,
the.Lebowski defense, so I wont bother
