What Happened With Rep. Omar?

What she said was wrong, but what she needs to realize which I'm sure she does, is that they are looking at her with a microscope. Nobody likes a woman especially one who wears hijab and is of color with some power.
Those are trivial things compared to criticizing Israel, & being called as anti-semitic.
You should know....you're continually calling Trump an anti-semite....which is really
odd, given his record both private & public...very pro-Israel.

What? Me worry?
Kind of ironic for Trump to call for someone's resignation over a tweet.

Even politicians should be allowed to express their opinion. You'd think on Twitter, this free expression of opinion should be allowed but the parties need to control their members to consolidate their power over the peoples I suppose.

Folks don't have to agree with her opinion and can be critical of it, but it seems pretty controlling of Pelosi to force her to apologize for expressing it.

If it were only Trump..

Pelosi, not a role model.

I probably would have went with, "People elected her, up to them to decide whether to keep her". Democrats however need to make sure she gets reelected so probably view it as damage control.

She is, however, the leader of the Democratic Party at the moment....

I have just now become aware of the ruction surrounding new Representative Omar, and her accused anti Semitic sentiments. I can see that Trump wants her to resign, but that is all I know. How could she get elected and get into trouble so fast?

The art of pandering and obscurity. She is in the spotlight now as a public servant.

Did she come from a predominantly Muslim district?

No. The district is mostly a sure win for any Dem regardless of the person. She followed party supported policy which all she needed to win an election

I don't see anything that she said that was wrong or "anti-Semitic". Zionist fanatics just like to lob that word as a weapon to shut down discussion.

I've read about 100 pages of the 400 page Quran, and it has a lot of hatred towards, Christians, Jews, and America in a series of riddles. It talks about a large war at the end of times, and at the end of it, all the Muslims, regardless of their stance during the war, will unite and take over this country described... As far as that congresswoman, she just doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut.
