Sometimes when humans speak the spirit of the divine within them gets expressed through their words. (I'm thinking of someone like Martin Luther King.)
Sometimes when other people speak to us they awaken the spirit of the divine within us, even though they may not realize it or intend to do so. (This can happen through other mediums as well, like stories, images, songs, theater, and so on.)
