Those men claimed they were inspired by god. People made the results scripture.
Say what? Harmony, there are so many contradictions in the bible it is amazing that to see christians have a blind spot fir them.
And in reality our atoms are reused because matter/energy can neither be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one into the other. In this way we are all made up of dead people.

Everything that has always been here on Earth is still here, so what we see is recycled.
( Side note: meaning ' everything ' except what man has left on the moon, on Mars, etc.)
I am wondering what one specific contradiction you might have in mind.
I find usually it is people contradicting, and Not the Scriptures themselves.

In harmony with your idea here, the fact that Adam and Eve partook of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that God told them not to, shows that Eve in particular wanted to be like God, and Adam followed in her blasphemous footsteps but in a difference sense. Satan was the one pushing her to do this.
I agree that Satan worked on Eve, what Eve did was the result of entertaining wrong ideas.
Satan pushed or influenced Eve, but on the other hand Adam, in a different sense, basically Adam committed suicide.

That is the point. Some people might feel that killing others in war is loving their neighbor as themselves?? I can't figure that out, but there is far more than being nice to people in the love that Jesus taught, so I agree with you.
To me, it is clergy craft, priest craft, that helps people think that killing others in war is love of neighbor.
Often the clergy are in bed with the political rulers (kings) doing their bidding as if that was God's will or purpose.
That is why clergy have used the pulpit as a recruiting station so parents will sacrifice their young on the Altar of War as if that is the same thing as the Altar of God.

Exactly. He knew what he was doing. Eve thought she could outsmart God. The problem is: she died. The day she ate of the fruit her fate was sealed. Adam, yes, I believe he knew he would die -- he committed suicide.

No, we are not flawed,we are simply people.

A farming implement is perhaps more dangerous than a sword. In the hands of someone with violence on their mind it represents a lethal weapon

One cannot live on hope.
I've heard that argument about not being flawed before. But how would you describe a serial killer? As not flawed?
(Yes, one can have a better life on hope of something good.)

In Scripture, I find we are flawed because we can Not stop sinning.
If we could stop sinning we would Not die. Someone with violence on their mind to me is a flawed person.
Since we can't resurrect oneself or another we need someone who can resurrect us. Jesus can - Revelation 1:18.
Most any implement can be dangerous, even a steak knife for example.
As Isaiah wrote the people who do Not take up the sword are those who 'do Not learn war any more' at Isaiah 2:4.
As the ' violent ' of Genesis 6:11 met their end, and all the wicked will meet their end as per Psalms 92:7.
This means: No violent person will be left on Earth. Only the humble meek people will inherit the Earth.

Sin is a personal/religious idea and means nothing other people.

Everyone dies, it it part of your DNA

Are you saying that you have never been angry at something?

Unfortunately for bible believers, economics does not work like that. It is the confident risk takers who have inherited the earth and the humble and meek are subservient to them.

How about the moon? That in itself is part of earth.

Lets start with genesis 1 on day 1 god created light but did not create the light source until day 4

In gen 1:11 god crated trees before man, in 2:4 man was created before trees

1:20 and 2:4 have the same confusion with birds

1:24 and 2:7 same with animalds

1:26 man and woman made at the same time
2:7 man made first.

So many more and i am sure apologists excuse the contradictions but the bible is written, not excused

We are not all serial killers and those few that are break local laws, not gods laws who, according to the bible was pretty blood hungry and a genocidal maniac himself.

Hope does not feed hungry children, while children are starving action beats hope anytime

I find Scripture refers to crime, breaking the law, as being: sin. Sin because it is breaking God's law.
As a governor can pardon ' crime ', Jesus can pardon a ' sin '.
Often time crime and sin can go hand in hand especially in larger matters.

Once Adam broke God's Law, then Adam lost access to the "Tree of Life", thus Adam's DNA became flawed.
So, yes we all die and will continue to die until Jesus' millennium-long day of governing over Earth comes.
It was father Adam who passed down to us his then flawed or acquired humanly imperfect DNA.
So, we need someone who can reverse death that Adam passed down to us. In Scripture Jesus can and will.
Scripture mentions being angry but do Not sin. There is such a thing as controlled anger.
I find people who follow Jesus could also be ' confident risk takers ' because of relying on God's help.
Before going into work I would pray. I noticed on distracted days when I forgot to pray things did Not go as well.
But, as far as the humble 'meek inheriting the Earth' that will Not happen until the time of Psalms 37:9-11 when the wicked are gone.

I find if all humans applied or lived by the Golden Rule then there would be No hungry children.
Humans showing or displaying a form of selfish-distorted love is responsible.
How true the words of 2 Timothy 3:1-5,13 have proven true.
Wicked men are going from bad to worse.
Or, as Ecclesiastes 8:9 mentions that man (humans)have dominated man to man's hurt or man's injury.

Laws are a country thing, not a god thing. The division of church and state is only a good thing for that very reason.

Please dont muddy DNA by making false claims. The science of DNA is accurate enough to show the adam and eve eve story is a crock

Also clairvoyance has no basis in reality

Actually you would be surprised how anger can be controlled, anger is an emotion, emotions can be controlled by strength of will.

Who is wicked? Those who dont agree with you, the bible ??

Dont be silly, hunger exists, poverty exists, thinking about it wont make it go away. There is only one person who has actually done anything substantial about starvation, Norman Borlaug had saved over a billion people from starvation. Yes he was a christian but his faith fid not interfere with his scientific work.

I find there are two (2) accounts about creation in Genesis.
I am Not sure what you mean by ' light source ' on Day 4.
You are right, on Day 1 God created the light, so the 'source of light' was created on Day 1.
I notice the word ' create ' is Not used at Genesis 1:16-19
So, God ' made ' the already existing created light to do something. 'Made' to reach the surface of the Earth.
Thus, the light was set in place to rule, 'made' to rule the day, 'made' to rule the night.
Sometimes we hear of a parent who 'made' a child do something like go to school.
The pro-created child was already in existence before the child was ' made' to go to school.
Thus, to me the difference in meaning is about 'creating the light' and 'making the light' do something.

At Genesis 2:4, I read that as an historical account summed up as the generations ......etc.
The 1st account of creation describes creation of Heaven and Earth and all in them as per Genesis 1:1 to 2:4.
So, Genesis 1:26-31 (the 1st creation account) is about mankind's purpose to enjoy endless life on Earth.
Genesis 2:7 (in the 2nd creation account) lets us know how God ' formed ' man from the created Earth.
So, Genesis 2:5 to 4-26 (2nd account) concentrates on the ' forming ' of the human race with its downfall.
Since it was still Day 6, Genesis 2:19 also informs us God ' further formed ' some more animal life for Adam to name.
So, just as Adam was ' formed ' from the already created Earth, so was animal life 'formed' or fashioned.

Breaking the laws of a country is a crime thing. Breaking God's laws is a ' sin ' thing.
Excessive speeding would be wrong in a country's eyes as in God's eyes.
It is just that we don't refer to excessive speeding a sinning against the motor-vehicle code.
In Scripture, Adam and Eve, etc, are real people. No clairvoyance in Scripture.
Yes, anger can be controlled by 'strength of will', this is called in Scripture as Agape' love. Love with mind and will.
In general, wicked people practice wicked things that both church and state should recognize as criminal acts.
God's judgement is already recorded in Scripture, and we all are free to be responsible for one's actions.
That is why Psalms 92:7 says the wicked will be destroyed forever. Unrepentant wicked people will perish.

I agree ' thinking about hunger /poverty' won't make it go away.
That to me is one reason Jesus gave us the illustrative story about the neighborly good Samaritan.
One by one we are to widen out, broaden out, in showing practical love to a person in distress.
When Jesus 'fed and healed' people that was showing on a small scale of grand-scale blessings coming.
Jesus was giving us a preview, or coming attraction of what he will do earth wide during his 1,000-year rule over Earth.
In order for earth's nations to hear or learn about this healing is a reason why Jesus put preaching and teaching first in his life, and he wants his followers to do the same thing - Luke 4:43; Matthew 24:14; 28:18-20; Acts 1:8.
Other scientific people also became Christians. Christian or not, No one can solve mankind's problems.
This is why we are all invited to pray the invitation of Rev. 22:20 for Jesus to come !
Notice the coming action Jesus will take for oppressed humanity as per Psalms 72:8; Psalms 72:12-14.

(Yes, one can have a better life on hope of something good.)

Unless damaged, we are born with an in-born conscience that properly trained or guided does good things.
So, a serial killer, a sociopath, could have a damaged conscience to the point of having No conscience.
A conscience can also become hardened to the point of being calloused like flesh branded with a hot branding iron.
Even such flawed persons, so to speak, can still hear Jesus' voice and that will be taken into account.

Yup, 2 different accounts

Light source = sun

Historical? Nope the bible is not a history book and interpretation is not how it is written

And of course, not only genesis but throughout the Bible it is littered with contradictions

A sin thing is only applicable to god believers and certainly in civilised countries no one is criminalised for committing a sin

In reality adam and eve lived about 100,000 years apart. Mdna eve, and y chromosome adam. DNA does not lie

And in human terms it is rational and moral behaviour.
