Most of our highways run East to West.
America's usually run North to South, right?
People talk about cutting through Canada a lot, and I've never really understood why.
I'm reasonably certain the reason that I listed above is why, though.
Our highways run every which direction.

Check Google Maps......
I drive between Ann Arbor MI &.....
Grand Island NY, Lockport, NY, Canajoharie NY, Waldoboro ME, & others places northeast.
As you can see, a trip thru Canuckistan could save me about 80 miles each way.
You can see how cutting thru Americastan's hat would save time & fuel.
I'd also be able to visit Canuckistanian acquaintances more easily & often.

No our highways do not usually run just North to South

Huh, maybe it wasn't highways.
I could have sworn that something like that was the reason.

Maybe you're thinking of draft dodger traffic?
But that was decades ago.
And for me, I would've still been heading east towards Windsor.
(Yes, I was a law breaking dodger....who managed to stay put.)

Well we do have some that have expressed the idea that all physical barriers removed, at least on this forum. I'm sure that there are many out there that agree.
However, we do see that there are Democrats that disagree with Pelosi. Now since this is from Fox News I suspect you and other prejudice will pooh-pah this.
Hoyer says border walls 'obviously' work, rejects Pelosi's suggestion that barrier is 'immorality'

In addition do you agree or disagree with the following opinion piece. Again it's from you arch remissness so I think I know your and others answer.
Here's the terrible secret about why Democrats did a complete 180 on illegal immigration and border security
You're barking up the wrong tree, so maybe pay closer attention next time to where the sound is actually coming from.

Most Congressional Dems are not totally against a wall, nor against border security, but that doesn't seem to phase what you wrote one way or another. The Dems have been more than willing to negotiate, as were the Pubs, as was Trump-- until Limbaugh, Coulter, and the "Freedom Caucus" said his hands would be even smaller if he agreed to what had been negotiated.

I don't see any "negotiations" at the present. Seems that they don't even want to sit down and talk. Just my perception.
