I would personally go for the chia Donald Trump. But you better watch out for what he says. Not allowed in family homes.

we had a beagle......

we tried in every way to keep him close to the house

nope

we even tried shock collars and a buried wire......nope
I saw him do it
he would stand to the wire and shake
take the full charge to his throat......drain the battery
and then run

get a miniature collie

we did
and she is the cutest little ball of fur ever
and already she is following in line about living with humans

Yeah, like I said before, beagles are a pain...

But there's no such thing as a "miniature collie"; you're thinking of the Shetland Sheepdog--the "Sheltie" that I mentioned earlier.

Have you considered.... getting a box of assorted doughnuts? (aka Homer Simpson)

The doughnut will never leave you (until eaten). The doughnut never Judges you harshly, nor makes you feel sad. A good doughnut never dies (as they do not last long enough).

Heck, even a 3 day old doughnut is still edible (what with all the
preservatives-- did you know sugar is one of the oldest, and best preservatives, ever?)

But the best thing about a box of doughnuts (aside from being able to share-- it's hard to share just one doughnut, you see)? Is that there is always another box, right there at the doughnut store.

(Inspired from The Simpson's Treehouse of Horror IV, where Homer spends time in hell, being forced to eat ... doughnuts. For some reason, it does not seem to be working... (in high pitched British accent) perhaps if the stuffing was pushed all up at one end? No? )

That’s really tame actually. Vote for Komodo dragon. Now that’d be a fun pet. Audie didn’t think it through clearly enough.

I watched a video of a komodo dragon interacting with its
keeper. Turns out to an intelligent and personable creature.

It might be fun to try to match our posters with suitable
pets.

Like, for @pure-x I would reccomend the land crab.

I've heard he already has crabs.
Instead, I recommend a very special doggie for him...

I wouldn’t trust P-X with it. Might get into an argument with it and have it for dinner.
