Very strange; my wife and I only ever go to the movies when we get free preview tickets.

We saw "Children of men" one evening last week............depressing, one could say.

"my life is my message", a documentary about Palestinians and Israelis getting together with Thich Nhat Hahn to discuss their suffering, their peace work, and their people. good stuff. intense, sad, resonant. i recommend it.

Ginger Snaps (think Fright Night with werewolves for the new millenium).
Good film, just don't bother with the sequels.

[QUOTEMysticSang'ha]Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Brad Pitt.
Angelina Jolie.

This movie is pure eye candy. Loved it.

STAR TREK V (the one that was directed by William Shatner:eek: )

Haven't seen it in over 7 years and it was just as bad as I remembered it.
But thankfully I had a few old friends watching it with me.....
MIKE NELSON and KEVIN MURPHY (Tom Servo) of MST3K!!!!!
Wooooo!!!

Got myself a neat little signature out of it too.

The end of Mr. and Mrs. Smith was pathetically anti-climatic and the absolute worst part of the movie. They could have somehow related the end of the movie to the plot. :slap:

I must confess Sunday (yesterday) was a very lazy day for me and mrscardero and in between the Simpsons and Family Guy we were able to watch another movie. Roadhouse with Patrick (it is my way or the highway) Swayze. I had never seen the movie before but mrscardero has and this movie was with the Mike Nelson (MST3K) rifftrax commentary for much needed laughs. This was also the movie of many humorous jabs when MST3K was on the air. Who could ever forget the Christmas Carol parody "Let's All Have A Patrick Swayze Christmas".

We saw Hollywood Land this Saturday. Starring Ben Afleck as George Reeves. It was pretty long for me and slow. For one thing. I ate all my popcorn

My wife and I are watching "Walk the Line."

So far, we think it's OK. I think our expectations were too high for this one and there are two other facts working against the movie: (1) We didn't know anything about Johnny Cash going into the movie and (2) his style music is some of our least favorite.

I'm wathcing Suicide Club, a disturbing yet provacitive film but, I still don't understand eveything about it yet.
Was this the foreign film where Japanese teens make a pact for suicide?
