John 14:28

In John 14:28, We find Jesus saying ---
---"Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I "

If Jesus is God the Father, how is the Father greater than Jesus, how does this work.
If Jesus is God the Father, how is God the Father greater than Jesus ?

There is a way that this works out, But how does it work?

By this statement of Jesus has puzzled many people, how can God the Father be greater than Jesus, seeing that Jesus is God the Father.

There is a way that this works, but it will take some deep thought. To think it thru.

So how is God the Father greater than Jesus seeing that Jesus is God the Father ?

I, personally, think that Jesus said these confusing things on purpose. Although He is not the author of confusion, what causes the confusion is the ideals that we want to hold onto in order to support our various man-made dogmas...

If we want the truth, then we need to let go of what we thought was the truth, in order for us to hold onto the NEW truth that God wants to reveal to us. Note that God will be the one giving us this new truth... not man.

In peace

The Trinity is a fabrication. If you read the authentic Greek New Testament you wont find such a doctrine in it. I can clearly see how these translations are deviating and following the anti-Christian doctrine.

Funny thing is, they admit they don't know what the Trinity really is. That's why they will tell you "it's a mystery" if you keep asking questions about it.

God is One. Only YHVH the Father is God. YHVH created Adam, Christ, and every living being and thing. Nobody is a deity besides God.

The Truth is already in the New Testament about this matter. Learn Greek and study the authentic Greek New Testament careful without people telling you what you should read. Jesus Christ is not God the Father. YHVH the Father is the only God, and there is no deity besides that of Him.

God created Adam from the dust. Adam didn't have a father or mother. God can do everything. So did God create Jesus which was born from Mary, which is now the Christ of humanity seated at the Right Hand of God in Heaven.

Just think about it. Do you really think God sleeps, goes to the toilet, eats and drinks etc. What a lie about Hes Holy Spirit! They even say that God died etc. Of course Christ is not God, there are so many hints in the Gospel about it. Jesus says that only the Father knows the Hour and that he doesn't know when the Hour is. According to the Trinitarians, if Jesus is God, they believe that God is a lier and says that He doesn't know when the Hour is etc. Another example, Christ said that we should worship only Hes Father, Hes God. So according to the Christians, if Christ is God, then how can God have a God who He does worship etc. etc. etc.

People will always stay like this. The majority will always be following falsehood. They are like sheeps. If one jumps from a cliff, then all the other sheeps join the jump.

Nope not at all is it confusing, once a person understands what Jesus is saying, it does however take some deep thought to figure out how it does work.
Actually its very simple.
Just give it some thought.

No one has to tell me anything, it's all there in the Bible/scriptures.

Jesus is God the Father. But how is God the Father greater than Jesus, seeing Jesus is God the Father.
That's the question to be answered

Christ is a son of God. How can a son be hes own father.. I advice you to learn Greek and study the authentic New Testament. Don't take the translations to serious since they have errors and doctrines which are not in the original.

God is greater then Christ because God is the Greatest and can't be compared with Christ or Angels or anything other in the creation of God.

It's really not that hard. Jesus was human. So of course the Father(His Father) was greater than He was in the flesh. That doesn't mean in the Spirit Jesus is not one with the Father.

I would consider my mind to be greater than my flesh as well, yet they are still one person (well, along with the third member of my trinity--created in God's triune image--my spirit).

No, that can't be the problem because he was a created being. The first created being. Colossians 1:15-17

Maybe you need to re-read
Colossians 1:15-17 again, for there's nothing there that states Christ Jesus as a created being.

Let's take a look at Verse 15--"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"

You do know what it means to be the first born of every creature?
This means that Christ Jesus is before all living things, Nothing about as being created.

As Verse 16 clearly states.

Verse 16--"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him"

Notice ( For by him were all things created)
( for all things were created by him, and for him)
As it is written, only God has the power of creation, so according to verse 16, That would mean that Christ Jesus is God.

So nothing there to indicate Jesus has being created.

verse 17 ---"And he is before all things, and by him all things consist"

If Jesus was created, then how is he before all things as verse 17 states, Only God was before all things, for God has no beginning nor end.

Seeing in verse 17 States that Christ Jesus is before all things, and seeing only God is before all things, This would mean Christ Jesus is God.
But as you can see nothing there to indicate as Christ Jesus being created.

If you understood how Christ can be the Son and God.which is very easy to understand
My advice is for you to understand Spiritual things.
As it is written --"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned"

Seeing you have no knowledge how Christ Jesus can be God, but yet God the Father is greater than Jesus.

Oh do tell.

There's one aspect of Christ Jesus, that can not be God the Father, and there's one aspect of Christ Jesus that is God the Father.
But the question is, What is it?

It's really not that hard. Jesus was human. So of course the Father(His Father) was greater than He was in the flesh. That doesn't mean in the Spirit Jesus is not one with the Father.

The Spirit of Jesus is God, that means Jesus and the Father are one in Spirit.
Both being one and the same.

But as you can see, not many people know what you know.
Jesus being of flesh and blood,
So of course the Father(His Father) was greater than Jesus was in the flesh.

But Jesus as God his greater than Jesus of flesh and blood.
