Ironically I know many people who thought Bill Clinton was reducing the deficit, when we was actually slowing the growth of the deficit, However Obama put the debt into the stratosphere.

Spending high for both, but foreign spending tends not to have as much economic stimulus as domestic

I think America itself is a grand experiment that the powers that be are letting continue till it burns itself out. So that they can learn lessons that we are bumbling through life here. America is looking closer and closer to Idiocracy.

When a country is run on popularity contests, greed, self interests, special interests, and how far you can push a brainwashed population down into mediocrity before they snap.

I get it, every country has pro-itself propaganda, but eventually you get old enough and you at least do a little bit a of traveling. And then you see through the bull that is in the history classes of every country on the planet. Governments serve themselves, with their population on the back-burners warming them on the coals only long enough to make them think they actually matter.
