Whilst I don't go out of my way to hurt spiders. I'm also not about to let red backs or wolf spiders or black widows randomly hang out with my nieces and nephews. A daddy long legs is fine. I'll even release baby Huntsmans. But I'm sorry, if you have little ones running around. I'm not going to take the chance. We call it the Aussie instinctive reaction.
I would give you my address and 100 bucks if only you would be so kind as to mail me a huntsman spider for a late Christmas present. :)

Killing spiders in your home is wrong but understandable , because that is like breaking and entering on the spiders end.

But people who walk outside and kill spiders for essentially no reason, should be fined or do some time in jail. You are not just ruining the spider's life, but you are damaging Mother Earth by removing her natural insecticides.

And every time you kill a spider you're actually preventing hundreds of spiders from existing because they give birth to hundreds , and you are preventing those from existing and helping our planet. So you are causing hundreds if not thousands more flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, or other pests to be nuisances, just by killing a single spider. Knock it off!

I'd love to. But I'd be afraid of it dying during quarantine. Or randomly escaping during transit and ending up wandering the states lol

There are a couple of cellar spiders living in my flat. Those are fine. They keep to themselves and stay in their designated spots. I can even forgive them being behind on the rent.

The creatively named "giant house spiders" are not fine. They roam about and always appear when your guard's down, scuttling out of the shadows and crawling on your face while you sleep*. I'll put them outside if I can but otherwise they're the only species I'll kill and only if they're in my house.

*This genuinely happened to my brother. The tickling woke him up. Sweet dreams!
