Now the concentration camps!!

I don't see any meaningful comparison. Jews were forced from their homes and forced to go to concentration camps. These immigrants are choosing to leave their homes and choosing to enter America.

Of course it is not comparable. Hysterical leftist
nonsense, now that, there is a comparison there.

what a heartless response!! and actually many American businesses do want immigrant labour, they're hardly unwelcome in much of the USA

Is your home full of the homeless and the immigrant?

IF NOT, you do not get to preach about "heartless".

I am pro legal immigration but against illegal immigration.

I am a legal immigrant. I have a lot of relatives who are
waiting, waiting for their turn that may never come.

Heartless and brainless is an immigration "Policy" that
favours those who just run past the border guards.

As an aside, today Twitter had to apologize because the automatic analytics allowed 'Kill All Jews' to become trending after it was reposted by thousands and thousands of people. This, coupled with recent violence makes me say this with utmost confidence:
If you think the current administration hasn't galvanized actual, 100%, honest to God Nazi, you need to pull your head out of the sand.

In what way does the process for gaining asylum slow down completely unrelated immigration processes? Are we actually seeing this in countries who have actually stuck their ****ing neck out like decent human beings for Syrian and Central American refugees as of late?

You are a country of laws; one of those laws says things like this:

The executive branch is using National Security laws which override whatever the UN and US refugee laws state. It is a farce but that is how refugee laws are being ignored.

A concentration camp is not necessarily a death camp. These are concentration camps in the same sense as how the word has been used historically, e.g. by the British in the Boer War or by the Spanish in Cuba.

While I agree with it. There's no mistaking the numerous Nazi references made already when talking/debating about this subject.
Who's breaking the law?
Ah. The "dumb" approach. Like it happens to be just an extra busy day at the immigration office.

Maybe we should go down to Honduras and bomb the hell out of them and create a safe country for them to go back to.

REFUGEE is not an absolute condition, no degrees of urgency
or need.

Why not send some cruise ships to Yemen, or divers sites along
the N coast of Africa? Go to Bangaladasn, oad up with Rohinga.

They could use some asylum. It would only be decent.

Those moslems that cant get along in China, i bet they'd
sent them all. We could build up our cities to look likr
the Walled City of Kowloon.

Let EVERYONE with a claim come, send boats, build railroads
for them!

Where are the limits, whats the end game?

Everything about immigration, legsl, illegal, criminal, economic
refugee, asylum seekers real or not, it is one big insane
broken mess.

9.85 out of 10 times the US has overthrown a government and did our 'nation building' we think we're so much better at than we are...we invariably make things worse. I'd much rather focus on humanitarian efforts than pure military efforts.

Not to beat a dead horse but this is literally what we say every time we let ANYONE in. And I keep bringing up Irish because I so recently did a bunch of research on the topic but man... It's the same thing. 'They should go somewhere else! Why do we have to take them? They can live somewhere else! Is what they're going through really so bad?' This can be used at any time by anyone to try and shove anyone who needs help away from the front door. Despite that they cannot show me that there's some resource allocation crisis or that these people are not 'really' in need.

Yup.

As for C. America, US militsry / political intervention for
United Fruit, and the insatiable demand for drugs has been
destructive beyond all calculation. The USA created these
refugees.

Australia and Europe have in recent times been inundated with illegal immigrants arriving BY SEA.
This is different to the current "caravans" about to reach the USA from dysfunctional central America BY LAND.
Associated with arrival by sea is the far more devastating humanitarian disaster of loss of life at sea.
It was this massive loss of life at sea that pushed Australia to setup the deterrent, dententration camps of Manis Islands and Naru.
Once offshore detention was introduced the boats and deaths at sea virtually stopped.
As terrible as this system is, it worked, and will continue until some more humanitarian solution is found.
Because of this policy, thousands of lives have NOT been lost at SEA.
Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
This poor group of desperate people is often the political football used to win elections, as really by far, the largest number of illegal immigrants arrive on a jet.

So would appear Honduras isn't that bad yet.

Actually, those seeking "asylum" are legally required to accept the asylum from the first free country they enter, then they can apply for entry into another country. Mexico offered such asylum and it was refused. These people are not seeking "asylum", they're looking for the freebies found in the US.
I just caught this. This is actually untrue. A false talking point spread by the right. There is no such legal requirement.
