my life, every day...unfortunately...In the past four days I have now had 3 migraines and one day in there was just entirely postdrome (hangover). After today's migraine I haven't had a hangover so I'm hoping that I'm pain-free tomorrow.
The "ugly duckling" has found a home amongst (mostly) swans (if you grew up with that story).
The last dog we had knew what rabbits were for. We were once walking around the block when she spotted a rabbit. She slipped her leash in nothing flat and the chase was on. The rabbit was faster.

I did. And though I still find "they're coming for our guns" and "unarmed countries are ripe for dictators" to be very highly annoying to hear (due to the absurd level of fallacy in both statements), I'm finding this local flavor of "Conservative" (I still think fairly center/moderate is a better description) more palatable and easier to get along with than those Conservatives I knew in Indiana. One group goes on about things that I hit-and-miss agree with and don't care enough to bother with debating - the other group had me feeling a street preacher here was doing it wrong because he just took no for an answer and left without pressing the issue (he didn't even say god bless but simply have a nice day).
But, overall, the Ugly Duckling analogy seems a good one, and personally in my own opinion and all that this place just isn't white enough and doesn't have enough churches to be Conservative, lol. I definitely just do not see the potential for an immigrant ban and English only bill or other racially/ethnically biased crap that politicians in Indiana tried.
