Your least favorite job

Mediocre.
I made excellent pizzas. At least at the second place (Happy Joe's), the first place I mentioned had pizzas too and they were "okay". The grinders were much better. Kind of miss them. The owner went out of business. Any surprise?

Sad thing is I had the my most favorite job turned into my least favorite job. Driving the big rigs.

Most of it has to do with the regulatory climate that's all but oppressive in so many ways.

I'm told when to sleep , I'm told when to take a break, I'm told I cannot exceed 0.04 alcohol on my personal free off duty time when other people are allowed to 0.08. (to clarify I don't drink whatsoever on the job. Common sense) I go through multiple enforcement checkpoints on a daily basis that makes me feel like I'm living more in a communist country than a free republic. I have to legally record everything I do throughout the day in regards to operation of the vehicle.

It's turned from being a great job into nothing more than a massive regulatory hassle that keeps getting worse and worse every year that passes.

What was your least favorite job?

I once worked at a jerky factory. *Shudders at the recollection*

Repetitive...very very very very very repetitive. Processing department was cold and bloody. Packaging department was hot and dry. Wages were crap. Some very unhappy people there. It seemed as if all who were working there were in the throes of court-mandated AA, child support back-payments, and wage garnishment...and complaining about it as they smoke their cigarette on break. I'd say everyone who worked there long term probably had two-digit IQs.

I would say everyone's pizzas here were probably way better than the pizzas I delivered that came from Pizza Hut.
And I'm doing the inventory thing again, which is much better here given management actually has a brain in their heads now, they don't lie to us every day telling us what we want to hear and promising us the moon knowing they can't give it to us, and it's not nearly as cut throat competitive.
