It would help if you guys got a decent bible. Revelation 17:9 Context: Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.

9“Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, 10and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. 11“The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction.

My question is. As to where did you get the word ( they ) in verse 10 ?

Verse 10 plainly said ---" And there are seven Kings.
But you have verse 10 saying ( they)

So where did you get ( they )
when verse 10 plainly has it ( there )

So your changing words which takes away

Now read Verse 10 again without changing the word ( there) to say ( they)

If you would click on the Bible hub link given, you could find out. I will add another link to NASB. New American Standard Bible Revelation 17:10

I could careless what man's teachings will say. you do know that Christ Jesus condemned the teachings of man's in Matthew 15:7-9---"
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men"

Therefore if you choose to follow man's teachings, then your worship to Christ Jesus is in vain as Christ Jesus had said.
9-- "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men"

Kangaroo Feathers

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
Various arguments, regarding, what the, Mark of the Beast , is. Now, this seems literal, at first, yet how literal is it? If one does not receive the Mark of the Beast, are they actually opposing the Forces that are referenced, in the scripture, or, are they just on neither side? It seems pretty specific, 'all those who receive the Mark of the Beast'. Does this mean, that this isn't those who don't have the Mark of the Beast, against everyone else, or, does it mean, the scripture opposition is only referring to those, who actually take, the Mark of the Beast?
Whatever "it" is, I think the important thing is that you can't be tricked into getting it.

Get a grip. I simply quoted from the NASB, which concurred with other bibles, and simply copied from an internet source. As your version makes no sense, I would suspect that your bible, probably one dedicated to a past gay king of England, is the one with the problem.

If you go by the Greek, the word "they" is not actually there, but it does no harm to the meaning. The seven heads represent seven mountains and also represent seven kings.

The whole point is, What do those 7 mountains represents ?

And who are those 7 kings that receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

And who is this king and when he comes must continue a short space and goes into perdition, Destruction.
Who is this According to what God has clearly given in the book of Revelation. That gives who this king is and who the beast is, in Revelation.

Well you seem to have fallen short of comprehending the what, when, the how and the why. Those included in not rising from the dead and reigning for 1000 years (Revelation 20:4) are those that worshipped the beast of Revelation 13:3-10, who was "slain (Julius Caesar), and his fatal wound was healed (as Augustus Caesar), would include "all who dwell on earth", except for those written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. The "beast with two horns like a lamb" (Revelation 13:11), is "another beast" (the emperor Constantine), with the authority of the first beast (he was an Augustus Caesar also). The beast with two horn like a lamb would deceive "those who dwell on the earth", and this through the power of his Roman church which he instituted by his powers as Pontifex Maximus at the Council of Nicaea. The Roman church today is led by present Pontifex Maximus, the pontiff of Rome. That daughter of Babylon, is the mother of the Protestant churches.

We are waiting with baited breath to hear who these kings are. By the way, the 8th head of the beast has 10 horns who receive power as kings for one hour, not 7 kings. All 7 heads of the beast are dead by the time of the 8th head of the beast, for he was one of the seven. If you could come up with one head/king, that would be nice.

Sticks and stones.

New International Version Revelation 17:10
They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.

New Living Translation
Five kings have already fallen, the sixth now reigns, and the seventh is yet to come, but his reign will be brief.

English Standard Version
they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while.

Nope not at all, Not when you have the seven heads Representing Mountains.
Revelation 17:9,

And then you have seven Kings.
Revelation 17:10.
But nothing saying the seven heads as Representing Kings or the kings Representing seven heads.

What your trying to do, is combine Verse 9 and verse 10 into one verse.

Verse 9 has nothing to do with verse 10, two separate Verses saying two different things.
Nice try

17:9 `Here [is] the mind that is having wisdom

13:3 And I saw one of its heads as slain to death, and its deadly stroke was healed
17:1 {woman} who is sitting upon the many waters,
17:3 a woman sitting upon a scarlet-coloured beast, full of names of evil-speaking, having seven heads and ten horns,
17:9 seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
17:10 seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
17:11 the beast that was, and is not, he also is eighth, and out of the seven he is
17:12 `And the ten horns that thou sawest, are ten kings, who a kingdom did not yet receive, but authority as kings the same hour do receive with the beast,
17:15 The waters ... are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues

The 7 kingdoms have ruled over the children of Israel.

5 are fallen: Egypt, Israel, Assyria, Babylon, Persia.
1 is: Rome.
1 not yet come: Ottoman Empire.
3 remaining kingdoms are Muslim, Catholic, and Paulianity.... the daughters of Babylon, because God would only ever hold accountable of this sin of blasphemy which marks them all, those religions which tell lies about Him. The false prophet causes the world to worship the nation which was healed. That nation is Israel. And the false prophet is, or will be, the king of Israel... the title which belongs to Jesus.

Feel free to tell everyone who the two beast are. All the beast are encapsulated by the description given in Daniel 2:35, which includes all the kings who have or will take over Jerusalem, from the head of gold, to the feet of iron and clay. tick tock

The golden age (when silver was as nothing to Solomon), the silver age (Persia and back again), the bronze age (when the Kingdom of Alexander did all the heavy lifting for Rome), the iron age (when the stone (Jesus) the builders (Pharisees) rejected starts rolling).

Will you fall on this stone and be broken in spirit, or have it roll over you and grind you to powder?

Let's back up to Revelation 17:3, a woman sitting upon a scarlet-coloured beast, full of names of evil-speaking, having seven heads and ten horns,

So who's the woman and who's the scarlet coloured beast that the woman is sitting on.
Who are they ?

As for Revelation 17:9 "And here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains , on which the woman sits on.
Have you any idea what it means, the mind which has wisdom ?
Have you any idea what those 7 mountains Represents in the bible ?

Revelation 17:10-- There are 7 kings, five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come, and when he comes, he must continue a short space"

So According to what Christ Jesus has given in the book of Revelation, who those 7 kings are.
Who do you say those 7 kings are ?

So According to what Christ Jesus has given in the book of Revelation, who the king is,
that must continue a short space.

But who do you say the king is, that must continue a short space. Who is he ?
Christ Jesus has foretold in Revelation who he is. But who do you say he is ?

Now that's amazing, your saying who those 7 kings are.
And Christ Jesus saying who those 7 kings are.
But yet nothing your saying, is lining up to what Christ Jesus is saying.

Why is it, What your saying is not lining up with what Christ Jesus is saying who those 7 kings are in the book of Revelation.
That's my question.
Your saying one thing and Christ Jesus saying completely different than what your saying.
So how is this to work.

Don't you think, what your saying, should at lease line up with what Christ Jesus is saying, who those 7 kings are in Revelation.

Why is it, that people will go into the book of Revelation and say this or that, But yet nothing that they say, Lines up with what Christ Jesus is saying in the book of Revelation.

I like for you to show as to where in the book of Revelation that will say, what your
saying here ---- > 5 are fallen: Egypt, Israel, Assyria, Babylon, Persia. (Where exactly is this written at in Revelation ?)

1 is: Rome. ( Where exactly is this written at in Revelation ?)

1 not yet come: Ottoman Empire.
3 remaining kingdoms are Muslim, Catholic, and Paulianity.... the daughters of Babylon, because God would only ever hold accountable of this sin of blasphemy which marks them all, those religions which tell lies about Him. (So where exactly is this all written at in
Revelation ?)

Your saying alot of things, but not showing how they fit into what Christ Jesus saying in the book of Revelation.

So where exactly are all those things written at in Revelation ?

Daniel 2:38, "you (Nebuchadnezzar) are the head of gold"..."after you will arise another kingdom inferior to you".....

I was looking for the names of the kings of the kingdoms. And the final kingdom will be one of "iron mixed with common clay" (Daniel 2:43). All the listed kingdoms (Daniel 2:35) will be crushed "all at the same time" (Daniel 2:35). The "tested stone", "the foundation" (Isaiah 28:16), is the Word of God, who "will smite the nations/Gentiles" (Revelation 19:13-15) with the "sharp sword" which comes from his mouth. The iron (Rome/Germans & Russians) mixed with clay (Edom) was crushed in 1918, and 1967, and 1973 (Daniel 2:34). All the nations being crushed altogether, the iron & clay, Rome (iron), the Greeks, the Persians and Babylonia has yet to be totally accomplished.(Daniel 2:35). These are the nations which persecuted Judah, and sold Israel into slavery, and have a destiny with the valley of judgment (Joel 3:2-3).

The "house of Israel" has been scattered among the nations for around 2700 years.(Ezekiel 36:22-24) It is the house of Judah, the Jews, who have been pillaged by nations mentioned in Daniel 2. The house of Israel isn't gathered from the nations until after the day of the LORD (Ezekiel 37). The nation of Israel, is presently home for the house of Judah, and is surrounded by the nations conspiring their destruction (Psalms 83:3-4). The "LORD" does not come to fight until after Jerusalem is "captured" and Judah will fight also (Zechariah 14).

Your king scenario, while wrong, is too convoluted to concisely reply too. I can say that the "nation" is not healed, it is the "slain" king who is healed from his fatal wound. He is dead and burned/cremated (Daniel 7:11), but his power rules on in his name.

Whatever "it" is, I think the important thing is that you can't be tricked into getting it.

Indeed. You have to make a life or death decision apparently....or perhaps you can opt out and eke out your own existence?

Revelation 13:11-18.....

"And I saw another wild beast ascending out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking as a dragon. 12 And it exercises all the authority of the first wild beast in its sight. And it makes the earth and those who dwell in it worship the first wild beast, whose death-stroke got healed. 13 And it performs great signs, so that it should even make fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind.

14 And it misleads those who dwell on the earth, because of the signs that were granted it to perform in the sight of the wild beast, while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast that had the sword-stroke and yet revived. 15 And there was granted it to give breath to the image of the wild beast, so that the image of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who would not in any way worship the image of the wild beast.

16 And it puts under compulsion all persons, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, that they should give these a mark in their right hand or upon their forehead, 17 and that nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name. 18 Here is where wisdom comes in: Let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man’s number; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six."

John saw a wild beast that had two horns and that spoke like a dragon. Who is this beast? Because it has two horns, we believe that it means two governments that are partners. This beast fits the description of the Anglo-American World Power, the last ruling world power before God's Kingdom was to 'crush all human rulership out of existence'. (Daniel 2:44)....but now it does something specific.

The beast with two horns “tells” people to make an image of the wild beast with seven heads. John said that this image of the wild beast would appear, then disappear, and then appear again. This is what happened to an organization that appeared after World War I. Britain and the United States urged other nations to join this organization. It was supposed to unite the nations and speak for them. This organization was called the League of Nations. The League of Nations disappeared when World War II started. During that war, the Bible said (according to the prophecy in Revelation) that this organization would appear again. That is exactly what happened, and now the organization is called the United Nations. (Revelation 17:8)

In the near future, all humans living will be forced to support this arrangement because it will be a totalitarian regime requiring all persons to submit....under threat of death.

We believe that the mark on the hand and the forehead to be symbolic of people complying with their minds and actions because they have to, not because their heart is in it. Or if it is literal, then perhaps something similar to what Hitler did to the Jews in branding them with a number. It says "no buying or selling" without the "mark"...so our livelihoods will be affected dramatically. This is a very confronting prospect but not unforeseeable in the near future. Time will tell how it is brought about...but we have been hearing about this "new world order" for decades. They are just waiting for the right time to introduce it.

John described the image of the wild beast with seven heads as “an eighth king.” Why did he call it a “king”? It does not appear as an eighth head on the wild beast. It is only an image of that beast. The power of this image comes from the nations that are members of the United Nations, especially from the Anglo-American World Power which has its headquarters in the US. (Revelation 17:10, 11)

John calls this image a “king” because it receives authority to do something that will affect the whole world.

The UN has been a "toothless tiger" up until it is given power by the nations to act in their collective behalf as a world power....an "eighth king that springs from the seven." One world, with one government and one set of laws for all....completely enforceable by men who are already armed and trained for the job.

Why the number 666? In the Scriptures, certain numbers have symbolic significance. The number seven, for example, is often used to symbolize that which is complete, or perfect, in God’s eyes, so falling short of that number would mean a fitting symbol of something imperfect, or defective, in God’s eyes? (1 Chronicles 20:6, 7) And the number six repeated three times, powerfully stresses that imperfection.....gross shortcoming and failure in the eyes of Jehovah.

It will be a rough time for humanity, but it will not last long......and what comes after is a cleansing of this earth of all that makes life a misery, and the final government ruling mankind (God's Kingdom) will see to it that corrupt human rulership, under the control of the devil, will never be seen again.

That is our understanding of this part of Revelation.

That is our understanding of this part of Revelation.

As with the 10 horns of the 8th head of the beast, who were kings, the two horns like a lamb would be Christ like leaders, not Christ like "governments". The oldest version of the number of the beast is 616, and not 666. It is the number of a man, a man declared a saint by the Eastern Church.

As for the eighth king/head, he "was and is not" (Revelation 17:11) during the period of the 6th head of the beast. In fact the 8th king was to be possessed (Revelation 16:13-15) by the 5th head of the beast, Caesar, who was declared a god by the Roman Senate after he was "slain" by the Roman Senate, and he was healed as Augustus Caesar who possessed all of Caesar's authority given to him by the dragon (Revelation 13:4). It was under the rule of Augustus Octavius Caesar, that all children of Judea under two were hunted down and killed. As in making war with the Saints. Under Augustus Tiberius Caesar, Yeshua was supposedly hung on a cross. By the way, Julius Caesar ruled for 42 months as dictator (Revelation 13:5). We are now in the era of the 8th head of the beast. All previous heads of the beast are dead, and the demon spirit of the 5th head of the beast is gathering the nations for Har-Magedon (Revelation 16:13-16).

The nations to be gathered to the valley of judgment (Joel 3:2) are listed in Daniel 2:35. The U.S. is not listed among those nations. The U.S. would be listed as the nation in which the river divides, a tall and hairless people, who will bring gifts to the LORD of hosts (Isaiah 18:7)

New International Version
At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers-- the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the LORD Almighty.
