The Anointed...….. Deuteronomy 18: 18-19; " I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put MY WORDS in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him. 19I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to MY WORDS that the prophet speaks in my name."

2ndpillar wrote...……. Should we believe Yeshua, who said if anyone denies me, I will deny them before my father in heaven.(Matthew 10:33). I think someone is being double minded.

The Anointed....... Whose words were they, that came from the mouth of the prophet Jesus, if not the words of God's only begotten Son, 'The Son of Man?' Who Abraham chose as his God.

If that is what Yeshua said, and Peter denied Yeshua 3 times, I am thinking that Peter will have to be denied before God in heaven.

Did Yeshua say if someone says "he is in the wilderness".... "do not believe them. Doesn't the "Christian " church believe Paul's wilderness story?

If Yeshua called Peter "Satan", and a "stumbling block to me", is that not the Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10), and Peter will become a "stumbling block to me".

No, we are at the "end of the age" and the lawless (Paul), and the "stumbling blocks" will be removed (Matthew 13:39-42).

It is Paul, who calls himself, and his follower lawless, and "released from the Law" (Romans 7:6). As far as the "testimony of Yeshua", unlike yourself, Revelation 19:10 calls it the "Spirit of prophecy". As for as John 21 quoting Yeshua, and telling Peter to feed, care and tend my sheep, apparently John caught on that Peter was fulfilling the prophecy of the "worthless shepherd" of Zechariah 11:16-17, who wouldn't feed, care, or tend the sheep, but would "leave the flock" (Act 15:7). As for what Yeshua told Peter, it was that Satan wanted to sift him as wheat, after which Peter denied him 3 times (Luke 22:31-34).

when the Pharisees gathered together to him, with some of the scribes, who had come from Jerusalem, they saw that some of his disciples ate with hands defiled, that is, unwashed…. And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not live according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with hands defiled?”…. And he called the people to him again, and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand: there is nothing outside a man which by going into him can defile him; but the things which come out of a man are what defile him…. Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside cannot defile him, since it enters, not his heart but his stomach, and so passes on?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) (Mark 7:1-5, 14-19; RSV)

Foods that have been offered to Idols cannot defile you, but to eat such foods in front of those who are weak in the faith, could compromise that persons faith, so for their sake and their sake alone, one should not eat such foods in their presence.

Jesus answered the question... and you skipped it entirely.

Matt.15:20 these are the things defiling the man; but to eat with unwashen hands doth not defile the man.'

Re: foods sacrificec to idols... you are arguing against Jesus to support Shaul of Tarsus.

Rev.2:20 `But I have against thee a few things: That thou dost suffer the woman Jezebel, who is calling herself a prophetess, to teach, and to lead astray, my servants to commit whoredom, and idol-sacrifices to eat; 2:21 and I did give to her a time that she might reform from her whoredom, and she did not reform 2:22 lo, I will cast her into a couch, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation -- if they may not repent of their works, 2:23 and her children I will kill in death, and know shall all the assemblies that I am he who is searching reins and hearts; and I will give to you -- to each -- according to your works.

Wake up, please.

Where are your two or three witnesses to that so-called event?

"by the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may stand"
The Oldest Testament also requires two witnesses to establish anything... meaning two separate people, not two visits from the same guy... no matter what that guy wants you to believe.

The Anointed...….. It is you sunshine, who have skipped completely over the truth as revealed by Jesus. Why do you twist and torture the scriptures in your futile attempt to make them appear to support your erroneous interpretations? Let us now take Matthew 15: 20; in the context in which it was written.

Matthew 15: 16-20; "Are you still so dull?" Jesus asked them. "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them."

Jesus said that the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. Not eating with unwashed hands or any types of food as is reinforced in Mark 7: 14-16; Where again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them."

Are you so dull as to not understand that said Jesus.

Do you live by the letter of the Law, which can only bring death, or by the spirit of the law as taught by Paul?

Myself and the Lord who dwells within me.

And that is precisely why Jesus says there is to be only one shepherd. Saul of Tarsus is stuffed full of teachers... and other things Jesus told us never to name among us.

And THIS has become prophecy fulfilled, by Saul of Tarsus et al:

John 5:43 "I am come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."

From the Oldest Testament...

The test of the true prophet of God:

Deuteronomy 18:18 "I will raise up to them a prophet of their brethren, like thee; and I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them as I shall command Him. 19 And whatever man shall not hearken to whatsoever words that prophet shall speak in My name, I will take vengeance on him." {i.o.w, Moses, which Jesus repeats in John 12}

Deuteronomy 4:2 "Ye shall not add to the word which I command you, and ye shall not take from it: keep the commandments of the Lord our God, all that I command you this day."

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. {Jesus, like Moses}

John 12:48 He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
12:49 For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
12:50
And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak. {see Deuteronomy 18:18-19}

Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away."

A False Prophet

Deuteronomy 18:20 "But the prophet whosoever shall impiously speak in My name a word which I have not commanded him to speak, and whosoever shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die." {gods your fathers never knew}

ro.7:6 "But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter."
2co.3:7 "ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones," {see Matthew 5:19}

There are two men, both in possession of a rifle, they witness a psychopathic murderer, shooting into a crowd of people killing many.

One man, like yourself, who believes that if he breaks one letter of the law, he will be condemned by God, and rather than risk losing his immortal soul, allows the slaughter to continue.

The other man, Like myself, who believes that "He who sheds man's blood, by man must his blood be shed," blows the head of the murdering animal, saving the lives of many people.

Which of the two men will God reward, and which of the two men, will he condemn? The one who lived by the letter of the law, or the one who lived by the spirit of the law?

I tell you now that you can lie
There is a time to steal
There is a time to disobey
There is a time to kill
There is a work that must be done
Upon the Sabbath day
No man who understands the Lord
Would teach another way
For the Lord God judges, not on what you do
The heart and soul of man HE searches through
It's the reason why the deeds of man are done
This is what the Lord God judges on.

Matthew 15:12 "Then His disciples having come near, said to him, `Hast thou known that the Pharisees, having heard the word, were stumbled?' 13 And He answering said, `Every plant that My heavenly Father did not plant shall be rooted up; 15:14 let them alone, guides they are -- blind of blind; and if blind may guide blind, both into a ditch shall fall.'"

Acts 23:6 [Paul cried out in the council] "I am a Pharisee."

Those who offer and eat their sacrifices which they make to Idols, are condemned by the Lord. But those who believe the words of the Lord, who said that no food taken into the body can defile them, will eat any food offered to them, even food THAT OTHERS may have offered to idols.

Revelation 2:14 "But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a {skandalon} stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication."

Matthew 18:7 "Woe unto the world because of {skandalon} offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!"

Jesus says nothing about Israel making the sacrifices.
Balac made sacrifices to Balaam.

When Jesus tells His sheep not to eat food sacrificed to idols, period, His sheep don't.

And you are correct Tony, in the last day, which is the future great Sabbath of one thousand years, which according to Paul, is the reality of the weekly Sabbath, after which day, heavenly fire will incinerate all physical life forms on this planet, the Lord will judge the whole world with Justice. The thousand year rule of Christ.

Zechariah 14: The Lord will gather all the nations together to make war on Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses Looted, and the women raped. Half the people will go into exile, but the rest of them will not be taken away from the city. Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he has fought in times Past. (This has not yet happened)

Numbers 24: 17, "A king, like a bright star, will arise in that Nation. Like a comet he will come from Israel. He will strike the leaders of Moab and beat down all the people of Seth. He will conquer his enemies in Edom and make their land his property. While Israel continues victorious. The Nation of Israel will trample them down and wipe out the last survivors." Zechariah 12: 10; "They will look upon me and see the one who they pierced, and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for an only child etc."
To see the man Jesus, who they pierced, is to see the Lord of whom Enoch was the cornerstone.

Isaiah 63: 1-6, "Who is this coming from the city of Bozrah in Edom? Who is this so splendidly dressed in red, marching along in power and strength?" It is the Lord, powerful to save, coming to announce his victory. "Why is his clothing so red, like that of a man who tramples grapes to make wine?"

The Lord answers, "I have trampled the nations like grapes and no one came to help me. I trampled them in my anger, and their blood has stained all my clothing. I DECIDED THAT THE TIME TO SAVE MY PEOPLE HAD COME; it was time to punish their enemies.

I was amazed when I looked and saw that there was no one to help me. But my anger made me strong, and I won the victory myself. In my anger I trampled whole nations and shattered them, I poured out their life’s blood on the earth."

See Zechariah 14. The Lord will come to fight for his people Israel as he has fought in times past and from within the inner most sanctuary of his tabernacle (The kingdom of God is within you) which temporary tabernacle is the body of mankind, he will fight the enemies of Israel; those Nations who surround Jerusalem in their attempt to drive God's chosen people into the sea.

The African tectonic plate in its northern migration, grinds against the Arabian plate in a line that runs up through the Red Sea and along the Jordon valley beneath the Mount of Olives.

Zechariah 14: 3-4; Then the Lord will go out and fight for his people as he has fought in times past. At that time he will stand on the Mount of Olives, to the east of Jerusalem. Then the Mount of Olives will be split in two, from east to west by a large valley. Half of the mountain (On the African plate) will move northward, and half of it (On the Arabian plate) will move southward.

Could the violent activity around the earth at this time, be the trigger that will cause the super volcano beneath Yellow stone to erupt, enveloping the planet in a cloud of debris? And that day shall be neither day nor night, but a perpetual twilight.

Zechariah 14: 13; Then the Lord will throw those nations that surround Jerusalem, into a state of total confusion, and the weapons of destruction with which they would destroy Israel, he will cause them to turn upon their own allies and they shall suffer a terrible disease, the soft tissue such as their eyes and tongues will melt in their sockets, and their radiated flesh, cooked to the bone, will slide from their bodies while still standing. Then all the surviving Nations will send their representatives each year to Jerusalem in the land of Israel, to worship and pay tribute to the Lord who will rule the whole world with justice for a thousand years, and woe betide those who refuse to do so.

Then all the godless people of this world, and all those, who in their Synagogues, Mosques, and Cathedrals of stone, marble, or crystal, who prostate themselves on the floors or who sing and dance with their eyes and hands raised to the heavens in worship of a god they neither know or understand, will bow down and worship THE God of the Bible, the Most High in the creation, ‘The Son of Man’ who evolves from the body of mankind.

(This has not yet happened)

I would suggest otherwise. A literal interpretatiom of all passages has failed Christianity, as foretold.

Baha'u'llah has offered this;

"...Say: The heavens have been folded together, and the earth is held within His grasp, and the corrupt doers have been held by their forelock, and still they understand not. They drink of the tainted water, and know it not. Say: The shout hath been raised, and the people have come forth from their graves, and arising, are gazing around them. Some have made haste to attain the court of the God of Mercy, others have fallen down on their faces in the fire of Hell, while still others are lost in bewilderment. The verses of God have been revealed, and yet they have turned away from them. His proof hath been manifested, and yet they are unaware of it. And when they behold the face of the All-Merciful, their own faces are saddened, while they are disporting themselves. They hasten forward to Hell Fire, and mistake it for light. Far from God be what they fondly imagine! Say: Whether ye rejoice or whether ye burst for fury, the heavens are cleft asunder, and God hath come down, invested with radiant sovereignty. All created things are heard exclaiming: “The Kingdom is God’s, the Almighty, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.”

You may note Baha'u'llah wanted to wake us from our slumber.

Peace be with you and I wish you all the best.

Regards Tony

The Anointed...…. Correct! They who shed man's blood, by man must their blood be shed. But are you prepared to be God's executioner?

When The Lord, through his prophet Samuel, command Saul to attack the Amalekites for what their ancestors had done to Israel some 400 years earlier, and to Kill every man woman and child,plus all the animal stock in that Land, and Saul did not do as he was commanded, the Lord took the Kingship from him and gave it to David, who was prepared to defend his people and to kill those who would attack his people, as will the Lord when he gathers all the nations around Jerusalem to fight the war that will end all wars.

OtherSheep

I see it will be a great flock that includes the sheep of Abraham, Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, Bab and Baha'u'llah. In fact all that accept God is One.

That's not at all what Jesus says.

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

John 6:44 "No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me." {The Law of Moses is how the sheep were taught by the Father.}

Matthew 15:24 "But He answered and said, "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.'"

The Sheep of The One Shepherd

John 10:1 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber." {The Door of the sheep is Jesus.}
10:5 "And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers."
10:16 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd." {The One Shepherd is Jesus.}

This Fold /\ Their Word \/

John 17:20 "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, [art] in Me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent Me."

Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world."

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 12:48 "He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." {This means Jesus' words only.}

I would suggest otherwise. A literal interpretatiom of all passages has failed Christianity, as foretold.

Baha'u'llah has offered this;

Then you must continue to believe your prophet, whose words I reject, while I will continue to believe the words of the Lord who spoke through the mouths of his chosen prophets, who revealed that He is to come and Judge the whole world with Justice for a thousand years, by means of the man he has chosen. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that man from death, after which, heavenly fire will incinerate all physical life forms on this planet.

That's not at all what Jesus says.

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 12:48 "He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." {This means Jesus' words only.}

I agree that those passsages say what they say. Not what we may think they say.
