I don´t think so. In Paganism everything in Nature is sacred and interconnected. It is a blaspheme to judge it otherwise.

The problem is trying to apply "pagan" as a blanket term to an extremely diverse and widespread group of spiritual and religious beliefs. There isn't really a standard for paganism because it's a very imprecise term. I'm sure many pagans would agree with you, but there are also many who wouldn't.

As for the OP, I think it's fine to question the exact doctrine of the bible and still consider yourself a Christian. Why are so many certain that everything contained within their holy text is so divinely inspired when the New Testament canon wasn't even officially decided on for hundreds of years after Jesus' death, and even then it was arbitrated by very fallible priests and other leaders? And even to this day, Christians the world over disagree on different interpretations of the texts.

The one thing that stayed with me after leaving Christianity is that the spiritual essence that I defined as God was a force of harmony and love. And I don't think that a god of love would punish you for exercising your god-given senses of logic and empathy.
