Hello. Iraq had nothing to do with the attacks of September 11th. Bush & Cheney wanted us to think that but it is not true. Was that reported in France? As for the world being safer...how do you figure? By any measure that I can think of our invasion of Iraq made things much worse.

I remember at the first days of US invasion in Iraq , a GI was telling irakian civilians that were complaining about the invasion " We invade you because of the 9/11" ... hundreds of thousands of Iraqi (and nearly 4 000 US soldiers) were killed based on this lie.
Then , Bush tell people that the invasion occured because of Weapons of Mass Destructions (remember Colin Powell at the UN assembly), that was also a lie.
So what ?
Bush is now a respected retired president, did he faced any justice court ? No
all those people (Iraqi and american) who died because of his lies, this is shamefull
but people don't learn history
in 2011 , France , UK and USA launched a war in Lybia, and the results are the same...
It has been revealed that french president of that time ( Nicolas Sarkzoy) received -illegally- huge amounts of money from Ghadaffi for his election campaign. Then, the best friends became worst enemies ... this scandal is now bring toward a court of justice, but I have doubt that justice will come.
Conclusion : Never trust what the news are saying. The journalists just want us to hate people who are living far away from us and whom we do not know. Then our country make wars , launch missiles on civilians ( with goals like "democraty, freedom , human rights"). And then, Serbian people, Iraki people, Syrian people received our bombs on their homes. Ten years later, we learn that the militar
y operation was based on false informations and that some people made a lot of money with that intervention.
And then, some occidental people are wondering why in some part of the world people don't like occidentals that much ...
