I have people where I live quote the statistic that most serial killers are white males. I believe that to be true and am the first to confess, there is something that predisposes people of my ethnicity to be serial killers more so than minorities.
However, it is "racist" for me to respond with the statistic that black males make up roughly less than 7% of the population, but roughly 50% of homicides.
Muslims do not make up the majority of the world's population, not even close, yet make up almost all suicide bombers, dark-aged theocracies, adulterer stonings, hacking of limbs and heads, and most terrorists as well.
Could all three statistics be mistaken? It's easily possible. But having lived in predominately black neighborhoods and predominately white neighborhoods... homicide, gang-activity, pollution, and getting the wheels stolen on one's locked up bike, never seemed to happen in the latter. Sure it happens, I watch the news. I just don't recall it happening in the "white" suburbs I've lived in. I've also studied serial killers, and most are white males.
Homicide has run rampant in some of the inner city places I lived, especially in New York, as opposed to the far less nightmarish ghetto I live in now, and there could be many reasons for this, and am almost certain white people are to blame. *sarcasm*
That said, "after getting in fights, wandering around high and talking trash, public nudity, going to a mental hospital for three weeks, theft, and allegedly throwing Tarantulas on people (which I have no recollection of doing), a white neighborhood or complex would not accept me back with such open arms like a prodigal son returning home.
The minorities I lived with shook my hand and said "I know how it is, you don't owe me an apology". We're just glad you're doing better.
Hence, I fit in here, so I'd take a black neighborhood any day over returning to Montana to live with a bunch of white far-right rednecks.
What are your thoughts?
(could we show the MODs that we can discuss these findings without actually turning this into a crap slinging contest. We should discuss this, because I think some minds are experiencing such inner-conflict by the double-standards of political correctness, that it got Trump elected. It certainly is the reason I speak so highly of the man. I'm sure there are many others who feel the same way.)
