The Trump Virus

So, I'll call it getting infected with the Trump virus...meaning falling prey to the spirit of hero-worship of someone who isn't to be worshipped and isn't "heroic" by Christlike standards. I posted pics of him as a superhero or messiah, and thought it was funny.

If indeed good people are in agony over this man, there is nothing funny about that.

I find some of his qualities and his rise to power truly miraculous or so it seemed. He does seem to defend some of the things I cherish, for I'm quite against the secular leftist agenda, and I hate politically correct double-standards, which he takes quite the stand against.

I also see a threat coming from Islam that wasn't dealt with under Obama who always called it a Religion of peace, when it is so easy to prove Obama is full of ****!

How much I despised Islam, secularism, and political correctness, totally Trumped other virtues I cherish like honesty, humility, and charity.

If Trump would simply admit his mistakes, say "I was wrong", and show signs that he is a compassionate, humble person, I'd not feel the sudden guilt I feel for so radically defending him. If I made you sick, I understand why. I make myself sick! :(

That is a problem of mine. Admitting my faults and mistakes is easy. Making up my mind on these issues just isn't easy, because I don't like people to suffer, while at the same time believing Islam and political correctness are both causing an enormous amount of misery, fear, injustice, and misogyny. If indeed Trump is causing a lot of heartache, fear, and agony to people who deserve better than that, I shouldn't be treating him like a Messiah, and will be held accountable for it on judgment day.

I can't promise you that I won't go right back to the same error. I just for now have had a change of heart!

God help us all! God help Trump to be his instrument for the greater good of America and the world. God help him be honest and compassionate, as well as firm in keeping the wolves out of the sheepfold!

There are still many things I admire about the guy.

But I feel there is a sickness going around where people are treating him like a sacred Messiah figure or superhero.

I have fallen prey to that. Even though I was partially joking.

When your country has been run by criminal presidents for the past 3 administrations you can't help but hold the man in high esteem.

Donald isn't a virus. He just watches Fox all day long and learns from the pro's. Tea party, Donald supporters, same thing. Dress the same, look the same, believe the same things, etc.
The republican elitists control the virus, Donald isn't bright enough to know fact from fiction.

And yet....he's the Prez and there is nothing you can do about it...hahahha..(and evidently he was smart enough to defeat the smartest woman in politics).

Hmm so the past presidents were criminals? Well I guess I better vote for a corrupt lying businessman. Nice logic there Mr. Frog.

You can't be a Christian and vote for Trump. Trump doesn't fit for a morally right Christian.

What if he does more to promote Christian Theology than a bit of a secularist and moral reletavist?

Couldn't a Christian still vote for a lesser threat to the Theology they cherish?

Except he doesn't. Everything Trump does is to increase his wealth.

It is more blasphemous to God to support someone who says he's a follower of Christ, but isn't then someone who doesn't support Christ.

But to think that Hillary would destroy our 'christian' nation is just straight paranoia.

You're right, majority doesn't rule in America. 1 vote =/= 1 vote.
And aspiring politicians ignore 90% of the states due to the EC.

Donald isn't to blame for where he is, the voters are. If it were up to Donald, he wouldn't be president. (he didn't want to be)

Like I said, Donald is #2 on the blame list. He never had the intelligence or credibility to be president. Now, America is in a situation with a poor decision.
Propaganda doesn't have to hack election machines to change votes. Propaganda changes how a person votes.

Is upsetting other people sufficient reason to support a politician?

And still...let me check...yep....he's the Prez..and all you can do is watch the years roll by...hahahaha...
