Elijah and Elisha

If John the Baptist was Elijah, then was Jesus, Elisha?

or maybe Melchizedek?

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

or maybe Adam?

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

And if Elisha were Jesus; then was Mary possibly Eve; who was immaculately conceived.

If John the Baptist was Elijah, ...

Probably John was not himself Elijah, but the spirit of Elijah was in him, or influenced in him and that way Elijah came in John to earth.

He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

Luke 1:17

John tells that he wasn't Elijah. He isn't. elijah was a temporal personality. the personality is associated with the form identified as elisha vs the personality form john.

the spirit is I AM that i am. that is god's spirit that is eternal where the flesh isn't. that Spirit, consciousness, was founded and raised in both elijah and john.

a person isn't a spirit. a spirit is a person having an earthly but temporal experience.

Elisha was given a double portion of the Spirit of Elijah. Melchizedek died. Enoch is the one who did not die.

the bible says nothing about melchizedek dying specifically but it implies he did. Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

enoch was taken by god

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: and he was no more. he died like elijah taken up in the whirlwind, or by the chariot of god.

that which is born dies.

That which sins dies. The big lie, which originates in Genesis 3:3, and is continued with the false prophet Paul, says we surely shall not die if you only believe, but be twinkled into incorruptibility instead. Neither Elijah, nor Enoch corrupted in the earth, for they went to straight to God, and would be the "two olive trees which stand before the Lord of the earth". (Revelation11:5) & (James 5:17) Paul and his original followers are buried in the ground, and have worms for companions. Paul's other followers are blinded to the coming cup of the wrath of God, which is in their future if they don't take heed to Revelation 14:10, Zechariah 2:7 & Revelation 18:4.

"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.

Sleeppy

Fatalist. Christian. Pacifist.
Given that, especially under my care, garden plants die as well, I have a hard time with this saying. :)
Was thinking about this just yesterday.. Plants have done more for life on this planet than we ever can, and with great efficiency. Self-righteousness is amazing.

All we do is take advantage, without any efficiency involved. If anything, plants should be raptured and taken to a new Earth.
