They're just down the street. Just keep your kids about 1 million miles away from any Catholic Church affiliated place and your families safety just increased like that.

P.S. The problem is at the top, but you have no idea who is in on it. Your beliefs and kindness are being exploited by perverts. Act accordingly.

Not just the Catholic church.

Information was put up here a couple of years ago, showing that the Protestant church actually had more sex abuse cases against it.

The stats at that time showed the Catholic church was actually in line (for sexual abuse of children) with most other organizations that have constant access to young children, such as other church youth groups, the Boy Scouts, etc.

The religions of Abraham obviously have a sex abuse problem.

That is the real mirror question, be truthful, bravado and posturing is useless-what do you really want to do and what are you willing and capable to act upon? justice isn't Justice, sometimes lynch mobs might have been right.

Paulson seems sincere and honest but who really knows. I'm not Catholic so I don't know much about this or anything else Catholic.

She starts her article out by writing, "Whether you are a current Catholic or recovering Catholic like me, every Catholic needs to know this information. Until yesterday, I only knew my former priest abruptly moved to another church. After my discovery, I realized the church moved him to get rid of a problem within my congregation."

FWIW, the Mormons are having a quite a problem right now with the fact that their bishops sit alone in a room behind a closed door with a child and ask what some call appropriate questions about sexuality and modesty. I don't know how much of this is true either.
