ok i was watching attack of the show..they had a pirate ninja battle! it was so funny, ome quotes are "the ninjas are usually quiet, although sometimes they mistake the rubber band balls for smoke bombs, and getting a printout is a challenge, since ninjas like origami...the pirates do a good job of keeping the spainards...this battle is as old as time, they fight for he mystical (some weird name) ...the ninjas want it because it makes you move like the shadows '...well why do the pirates want it?' it also gets you really really drunk..."

Ninjas are masters of stealth and subterfuge and reconnaissance. They can kill and escape before you even know they are around. In a battle between ninjas and pirates the pirates would be dead before they even knew they were in a fight.

Ninjas were certainly more impressive people - well-trained, honorable, these sorts of things. Pirates, on the other hand, were generally desperate and without morals. In the former Yugoslavia, our pirates were actually not on ships. They'd like fake lights on the shore to lead Italian vessels into the rocks, then kill the ship's occupants and loot all its cargo.

Bosnian ninjas on the other hand... just kidding, come on. You don't think we actually had ninjas do you? lol

My ancestor was a pirate, so I'll have to say pirate. Although, he preferred to call himself a Privateer. Arrrrrggghhhh ye matey :pirate:

Here's an interesting question that I hope is worthy enough to make it into your column.

Pirates and Ninjas. Both are incredible, I'm sure we'll all admit, in just about any context. But what would happen if you crossed the two to create an army of pirate-ninjas to take on the world? Would you be able to defeateveryone? Would anyone be able to stand up the the nigh unstoppable destruction that could be wrought by such a mix? Or would they just be regular ninjas that would blow their own cover when they are struck with the irresistable urge to mutter, "Yar" at inoppurtune moments? Or even more strange-would they be pirates sailing about in a ship that appeared ghostly in the fact that you never saw the crew, all being fluent in hand gestures and secrecy? Do you think it possible that I could control such a power, or would it snap my mind like a brittle twig?

Honestly though...you want kickass quality? Try...Navy Seals. They got the best of both. Highly trained in many fighting techniques and rule over both the sea and the land. ;) :woohoo:
