Meatball verses in the Book of John, that many, it seems interpret in a manner, that contradicts Scripture, Jesus's own allusions to Scripture, and, traditional belief.

How do you interpret these verses?
John 1:18
John 6:45
John 6:46
John 6:47

Is John contradicting the religion of Jesus? Is Jesus contradicting His own religion?

In another thread, I present interpretations that offer no contradictions, however, it can be noted that certain verses in the Book of John, seem to be commonly used, to present a contradictory, or questionable religious perspective. It is interesting that the book of John seems to the go to source, for these, seemingly contradictory, or false, concepts, commonly presented.

The thread in which I interpret these verses in a non contradictory manner, is same faith debates dir

The wording here, is tricky, however there really aren't other options for interpretation.
The assumption has to be made, that Jesus isn't contradicting His own religion.

In other words, when one perceives the Abba, one also perceives Jesus.

This infers that John 1:18 can only mean, God as in literal human manifestation, form, in Yisrael.

Anything else seems contradictory.
The other thread where I present what I consider non contradictory interpretations, is located here

Thread note: Noted that there are too many parralel verses like this that I can't interpret or reinterpret, so I'm out of the reinterpreting hobby. These verses just seem to be wrong, and there doesn't seem to be a way to reinterpret various verses like this.

This thread still stands as a subject, however the reinterpreting thread is out, as theoretical, to a completely revised bible.

John presents s much higher Christology then, say, Mark. There’s nothing wrong with the verses. Why do you feel a need to “reinterpret” and resolve contradictions? Why can’t they just stand on their own merit as we attempt to unpack a God that is too vast for us to understand?

Seeing that you have no idea what
John 1:18
John 6:45-47 is saying.

It's plain to see what those Verse's are saying.

Let's start with John 1:18.
Jesus saying that no man has seen God at any time.
Ok, so who's the ( man ) that Jesus is making mentioning of ?

Now as for John 6:45-47,

Verse 45, Note that Jesus said ( It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes unto me)

What Jesus is revealing here, is that everything is written in the old testament scriptures.
That they shall be taught by God, and every man, this being mankind, that has heard Jesus teach in and about God, will come to him
( Jesus )

Verse 46, Note here Jesus saying, ( Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of God, he has seen the Father)

This being Jesus which is of God, Jesus has seen the Father. For Jesus is God the Father.

Verse 47, Jesus saying ( Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me, has everlasting life)

What does Jesus mean by ( he that believes on me)
This being, He that walks transparent in the likeness of Jesus has everlasting life.
According to the book of James 2:19, we find here, even the devil's believes and tremble.
So we find, what Jesus said has a much deeper meaning, than just believing on Jesus.
If you didn't notice in verse 47, Jesus said
( I say unto you ) Thereby Jesus speaking to his Elect people down thru the ages.

It's quite plain, in English.

It's plain to see what those Verse's are saying.

Jesus saying that no man has seen God at any time.

That's the question , right? Or that had better be the question, lol.

Now as for John 6:45-47,
Did you explain the last verse? Seemed like a question.

Verse 45, Note that Jesus said ( It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes unto me)
Riiightt...

What Jesus is revealing here, is that everything is written in the old testament scriptures.
That they shall be taught by God, and every man, this being mankind, that has heard Jesus teach in and about God, will come to him
( Jesus )
Great.

Verse 46, Note here Jesus saying, ( Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of God, he has seen the Father)
...

This being Jesus which is of God, Jesus has seen the Father. For Jesus is God the Father.
Actually it just says 'of God', not Jesus.

Verse 47, Jesus saying ( Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me, has everlasting life)

What does Jesus mean by ( he that believes on me)
This being, He that walks transparent in the likeness of Jesus has everlasting life.

I suggest reading your Bible again, since you didn't actually explain the verses in accordance to Scripture. If the Bible is all metaphor, concerning the Abba, then just say it's all metaphor, and the first time anyone encountered God, was when Jesus incarnated.
If read literally, it contradicts Scripture, not sure why you don't realize that.

Well seeing you have no clue or idea who Jesus is, maybe that's why you can't put together John 1:18 and John 6:45-47.

John 1:18
We know this can't be read literally, without contradicting Scripture.
John 6:45-47
We know this can't be read as only meaning Jesus, without contradicting Scripture, and Jesus's own allusions to the religion we should be practicing.

Therefore, these are commonly being interpreted incorrectly, or, Jesus is presenting a new religion, or, Yochanan is presenting a new religion.

I personally don't believe that John is presenting a new god concept,
3 John 1:11, for example.
I personally don't believe that Jesus is blatantly contradicting the Bible, and the religion He Himself references.

Yochanan isn't meaning John 1:18 literally, 3 John 1:11.

The English translation presents what could be a literalism, however contextually, we know it can't be literal.
