It appears that the Trump administration is getting ready for his use of the N word.

Yeah, Augustus' post seems solid to me.

I actually do think Trump is likely a racist, based on his long history of what look very suspiciously like racially-tinged renting policies and growing up under the roof of a documented probable KKK supporter. It wouldn't be at all surprising to learn the tape is real. But, there's no real evidence that it exists right now, and Huckabee Sanders' denial seems like it's just saying she doesn't know every word that's ever come out of his mouth. Interpreting that as proof of its existence looks very thin, honestly.

Not disappointed, just surprised.

Again with the TDS...

I grew up under the roof of a KKK supporter. I am not a racist even though I had to fight to mentally suppress the stupidity I was taught. My children have never heard me repeat some of the garbage I was exposed to as a child.

"I can't guarantee anything, but I can tell you that the President addressed this question directly."

Could easily be intended as "I personally can't say because I'm not him, but he has unequivocally denied it so what more do you want me to add?".
For the die hard Trump fan-boys it appears they are going for the frog in a boiling pot of water strategy. Admit just a little more each day about how bad Trump really is until people don't mind that they elected the scum of the Earth into office.

Wow...TDS on steroids?

Trump tweeted Monday: "I don't have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up."

SHS was referring to this statement though, which is unequivocal in denying he used it. To interpret that as 'admitting' anything is just spin.

What else could she have said other than referring to his clear denial?

I was talking about his handlers. Trump is a bit of a bull in the china shop and he gives the most grief to those that are trying to help his administration .

Trump is . . . how to say it so that it does not set off the censor-bot? . . . a piece of work.

Sounds like my dad. I have seen one of the history books that talked about how kkk existed to keep the states from being overrun. He always thought it was stupid unbelievable garbage and that the politicians were behaving stupidly. He joined the service partly to get away from racist thinking and isolated culture. His wife also would not have anything to do with racist language. They joined a very mixed race church and proceeded from there.

How is it that "grab her by the *****" is dismissed as "locker room talk," yet an FBI agent showing off and trying to get laid by a coworker is a huge major issue?

I think this is a classic case of seeing only what you want to see. I believe the incident with the participants you refer to has nothing to do with sex unless you count screwing a presidential candidate.

You don't come across as unintelligent so you may be yanking my chain on this but I think there is an obvious difference between a blowhard businessman publicly talking about sexual conquests on a show known for outrageous guests and materiel and a member of one of the most powerful law enforcement agencies in the country hinting in what he thought was a private conversation about using the powers of it to prevent a political candidate from getting elected- and this person was serving on a panel to investigate that same politician after he was elected.

It has nothing to do with seeing what I want to see, but asking why non-consensual ***** grabbing is ok but attempts to bone a coworker isn't. They're both unethical, and illegal (I assume for the FBI agents involved in the text exchange).

Are you being serious right now? This has absolutely nothing to do with the personal lives of these two losers.

I haven't heard any defense or excuses or reasons as to why there were no chants of "lock him up" after Pence's email was hacked and it was revealed he had been been using a commercial email account for state business.

You expect consistency from politicians? It is always wrong if someone else does something borderline but excusable when someone on your own side does it. Like I said "reasons".

I am not fond of the Tu Quoque fallacy. and right now that is Trump's only defense.
