Brennan: "nothing short of treasonous"

Nice stereotype that doesn't work if you actually read or listen to the news.
Well...Hungary has anti-Soros laws, for example

So, you hate Pope Francis, who's a man of peace, but you support Vladimir Putin who's a man of war and murder. "Interesting" choices.

Well...Bergoglio is a globalist traitor, and a Freemason too.
A traitor to Italy and Europe.

Putin is against Soros, against globalism, against terrorism.
That's why Italy loves Vladimir

Source?

A traitor to Italy and Europe.
I'll stick with my original question, and I can guarantee you that you cannot source the above unless you're using right-wing sites, which wouldn't surprise me one iota.

Putin is against Soros, against globalism, against terrorism.

Are you sure you're not confusing Putin with maybe his long dead great-grandmother?

BTW, as I mentioned before, "Italy" does not love Vladimir, and my wife who's from there certainly would strongly disagree with you. She has strong morals, thus liking the Pope and strongly disliking Putin.

Why in the world would Mueller's team be dumb enough to do that? Do you honestly believe the Russians under Putin would admit to any wrongdoing? Haven't you noticed what tends to happen to those who "disappoint" Putin?

If the Mueller team has enough evidence to issue indictments then there should be no problem proving Russian guilt, quite honestly it looks like Putin is calling Muellers bluff.
Overall, if it ever does happen it should be televised uncensored much like cspan so misrepresentation by U.S. and Russian media could be minimized but that is just me.

I'm not playing fast & loose with anything but just mentioning what so many have clearly seen and heard for themselves. The only serious question is why is Trump doing this, and one of my hypotheses is that Putin has something(s) on Trump and Trump knows it.

Or it could be that it's a good move for US foreign policy and US interests. To me, I think it's the dumbest thing in the world to alienate Russia at this juncture.

Is that why so many Republicans have soundly denounced what he said and why many European leaders are shocked and dismayed?

It's entirely possible they could have been paid off to act that way. How is anyone to know otherwise?

There's no logical reason for their reaction, and none of what they've ever said or done regarding Russia has ever made any sense whatsoever.

Hungary passes anti-Soros laws

Listen, metis:)
you should read some Italian newspaper every now and then, to understand that Bergoglio has become a hated figure here, because he insulted our populist Government...justifying immigration.Bergoglio is not a Pope but a Freemason
Putin is really loved here Why Italians like Putin

Quite honestly, you're falling for Putin's bluff (of sorts) as there is not one thing to gain with meeting with those who would automatically deny any complicity as Putin already has. It's obvious that Mueller feels he has more then enough evidence on the Russian 12, so going through the charades of "discussions" about them is ludicrous.

You first use the first website that shows a picture of Pope Francis with a single-finger salute in the foreground, and then a second site named after Sputnik, and you actually think I'm ignorant enough to swallow their garbage as you have? Maybe try some serious websites, but I really don't think you care for anything that's objective or moral, especially since you endorse Putin and his lies, his warring, and his murder versus a pope that teaches peace and basic morality.

What???

Mueller has issued over 100 charges on around 25 people thus far, five have already taken plea deals to turn state's witness, and then you say there's nothing? You've got to be kidding. Please tell me you're kidding, OK?

If only Russia had the same concern after meddling in our election process as well as several other countries, plus invading Georgia, the Crimea, and the eastern Ukraine. It seems the Trump caters to Putin's demands but the contrary certainly isn't true. Even a strong supporter of Trump like Gingrich blasted Trump yesterday.

I am loyal to the secular Italian Republic...not to a Vatican full of Freemasons...probably supported by Soros.
Bergoglio wants Europe to be invaded by migrants.
Putin volunteered to help us solve the migratory crisis.

By using the word "discussions" it seems you are attempting to water down what Putin actually said, interrogation is a much different word than discussion- and he is inviting Mueller and members of his team to be in on it:

"According to a translation of Putin's remarks, the Russian leader specified that "we would interrogate" and "hold the questioning of these individuals who he believes are privy to some crimes" if Mueller made such a request."

Putin asked special counsel to 'come and work' with Russia, Trump says

You still keep missing the point. It's like if I say to you "Why don't you go to visit Putin and ask him for dirt on the their own espionage operations?".

Try it and see how far you'll get.

I saw the same press conference, but I didn't make the same observations. It just looked like a regular press conference for a summit.

"Treasonous" seems a bit over the top, and besides, "treason" is in the eye of the beholder.

David Gergen was a Reaganite stooge, so his opinion is hardly worth anything. A former CIA director has even less credibility on such matters. McCarthy accused the Democrats of treason for "losing" China and Eastern Europe (as if they ever belonged to the US in the first place). The hippies were accused of treason for their anti-war positions.

If we're going to play fast and loose with the word "treason," then we can open up an even bigger can of worms.

I don't know that I would go as far as treason, but it is certainly pretty disgusting to watch the president tell the world that he believes Putin while trying to discredit our intelligence agencies.

So your point is, why bother? I guess that is where we differ and why we will not be able to have any meaningful discussion.

You don’t let the crime boss participate in the investigation of his own goons. This is not a serious suggestion.

One does have to keep in mind that the opinion is coming from John Brennan. Does anyone actually still take him seriously?
