The Kingdom of God VS. The kingdom of this world

The spirit of this world.
The spirit of this world (1 Cor. 2:12) has been in the world from the beginning. (John 8:44) He is the same spirit that was in the serpent in the garden of Eden: satan the adversary. (Gen. 3:1; Rev. 12:9) Anyone who has not been born again(see *note at bottom) is under his influence through the weakness of their fallen fleshly nature. (Eph. 2:2-3) The human flesh was intended to be a receptor of information from the spiritual. This was supposed to be the human's own spirit, and also each body is designed to be the temple of God's Spirit. The adversary is able to abuse this spirit-to-flesh system. A human spirit alone is inadequate to thwart his subtle mind control techniques. (2 Cor. 4:3-4) Angels are more powerful beings than humans. (2 Pet. 2:11) Anyone who is living in the flesh is potentially bound and is captive to his will. (2 Tim. 2:26)

The kingdom of this world.
The kingdom of this world is satan's kingdom. (Matt. 12:26) This kingdom consists of those evil spirits that serve the spirit of this world. This spirit rules over them through a hierarchy. Which includes principalities etc. (Eph. 6:12) This hierarchy is set up over masses of people. For example the “prince of Persia” and the “prince of Grecia” mentioned by the angel. (Dan. 10:20) Their strongholds are set up over people's minds. They control these masses with thoughts, suggestions, urges etc. (2 Cor. 10:3-5) Along with more obvious methods such as demonic possession etc. The purpose is to keep your (fallen)fleshly nature enslaved to sins. In this state people are at enmity against God. (Rom. 8:7) So the sinner is bound and even blinded by satan. (2 Cor. 4:3; 2 Tim. 2:26)

The Kingdom of God.
When a person is born again; they are baptized by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit of God fills the same space as the person's own spirit. With spirits there is no space limitations. The two spirits are in the same location together. These two are joined and are “one” Spirit in marriage. (1 Cor. 6:17) When a person is in the Kingdom of God, their “body of sin” was crucified, buried with Jesus Christ and they live unto God; walking in “newness of life”. (Romans 6:2-3) This frees them from the adversary's world kingdom system. They are in the world, but they are no longer of the world. This puts them at enmity with the world. “Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.” (1 John 3:13) People have a choice to either be a friend of the world and an enemy of God, or a friend of God and hated of the world. (James 4:4) When a person has received the Holy Spirit; God's Spirit will immediately begin to influence that person for good. This is called the fruit of the Spirit.

Note* Some people prefer the translation "born from above" rather than "born again" for John 3. Others may even prefer "born anew". This thread is not about that topic. Just take the rest of it for what it is.

Thou art That
The entire drama of the kingdom of this world as it relates to the kingdom of God is an illusion; a dream from which one needs to awaken, and to realize the kingdom of God within. This world IS the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of God is THIS world, and no 'other' world. IOW, there is no supernatural god over nature. That idea is merely a projection of the ego onto an idea of some 'other'. This is called 'Idolatrous Love'. Nature and the divine are one consciousness. Due to a flaw in the mind, it only SEEMS as if there are two separate worlds. But the dreaming mind and the awakened mind have their roots in the same consciousness; The Miraculous and The Ordinary are one and the same experience seen as two in opposition, rather than as complementary. As for spirit and flesh, they, too are one and the same experience, but when not kept in balance one to the other, there can be corruption, as when overindulgence and overconsumption is allowed to take precedence.

The spirit of this world appears to be quite powerful too.

I am just wondering how you understand this scripture Revelation 11:15 in view of what you said.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said,
The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Do you understand it to mean that Jesus takes over rulership of Satan's kingdom - that is he takes over rulership of those who are followers of Satan?

Also, what is your understand these verses Matthew 20:21; Mark 9:1; 14:25; Luke 7:28; 13:28, 29; 22:28-30 about the Kingdom of God?

Interesting idea. I believe Revelation 11:15 is about when Christ returns to the earth and rules. I believe whoever is left alive on the earth at this time will be freed from satan's rule or influence.

That's about the resurrection. But resurrection power begins within right now in this lifetime. Jesus taught that they would not see the kingdom of God coming anywhere because it was within. (Luke 17:21) First you're "renewed" within in the inner man through the rebirth experience. The baptism of the holy Spirit (through resurrection power) creates within us what is known as the "new man". (Ephesians 4:23-24)

Then afterward when they are resurrected their whole body is saved from the corruption of the flesh. (Philippians 3:21) Death is swallowed up in victory. (1 Corinthians 15:54) So that there will be wholeness in body, soul and spirit. The war I spoke of in the flesh will be over because there will be no weakness or sin.

So John 3:1-9 is about the resurrection. But the resurrection begins right now within us; if we'll have it. (Acts 2:1-4) And this is the "earnest of the inheritance" the seal of the holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:13-14) The "purchased possession" of course is the new body and the entirety of the resurrection. Immortality. The "Crown of Life". (James 1:12)

While we're on the subject. I don't want to leave out water baptism(being born again of the water) which is also part of this resurrection power. What it does (in my research) is make our conscious clean from sins and so prepares us to enter the kingdom of God. (Acts 2:38)

I don't understand. What do you mean... the kingdom of God is about the resurrection?

This is when Jesus returns to earth (Acts 1:11) and rules for 1000 years. (Revelation 20:6) It's His Messianic reign when He will rule the world. Or in other words when He will "restore the kingdom to Israel" as His disciples asked Him. (Acts 1:6)

I don't understand. What do you mean... the kingdom of God is about the resurrection?
Sorry. Can you rephrase the question?

So do you see Jesus ruling the earth from heaven?

You said the scriptures are about the resurrection, but all those scriptures are about the kingdom of God, so I am trying to understand what you mean by they are about the resurrection.
Are you saying the kingdom of God is about the resurrection?

I don't understand what you are saying in your post about The Kingdom of God. So I am trying to understand what you understand about it - from those scriptures I provided.

Some of the scriptures you referenced seem to me to be about eternal life. Like Luke 13:28.

:)
Your OP has in bold The Kingdom of God where you wrote out something, for which I don't seem to be getting the connection.
I asked
what is your understand these verses Matthew 20:21; Mark 9:1; 14:25; Luke 7:28; 13:28, 29; 22:28-30 about the Kingdom of God?
You say
That's about the resurrection...
Now you say
Some of the scriptures you referenced seem to me to be about eternal life. Like Luke 13:28.
Why did you leave off verse 29?
This is strange.

Why are you not addressing the kingdom of God from those scriptures on the kingdom of God?
Why are you talking about everything else but the kingdom of God? Did your OP include the kingdom of God, or not?

Matthew 20:21
“What do you want?” he asked her.
She said to him, “Promise that one of my sons will sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”

Mark 9:1
He said to them, “I can guarantee this truth: Some people who are standing here will not die until they see God’s kingdom arrive with power.”

Mark 14:25
“I can guarantee this truth: I won’t drink this wine again until that day when I drink new wine in God’s kingdom.”

Luke 7:28
I can guarantee that of all the people ever born, no one is greater than John. Yet, the least important person in God’s kingdom is greater than John.

Luke 13:28, 29
28 Then you will cry and be in extreme pain. That’s what you’ll do when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets. They’ll be in God’s kingdom, but you’ll be thrown out. 29 People will come from all over the world and will eat in God’s kingdom.

Luke 22:28-30
28 “You have stood by me in the troubles that have tested me. 29 So as my Father has given me a kingdom, I’m giving it to you. 30 You will eat and drink at my table in my kingdom. You will also sit on thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.”

I'm not seeing anything about resurrection in these verses, and what about them caused you to focus on everlasting life? They all mentioned the kingdom of God though. Would you like to address that? What do they indicate the kingdom of God to be, and can they fit into the section in your OP about the kingdom of God?
