Okay. Thanks for trying.
So how would you answer these two questions?

1) If the earth is only the dry land, when God said - vs. 11 -
Do you believe this includes vegetation on the seabed?

2) If the light is the word, what is meant by the words
I don't know when the sea plants were created. We can only guess since they aren't specifically mentioned.

Verse 4 is interesting because I believe it has multiple meanings. The obvious meaning here is just a day and night cycle. So there would day time and night time from then on.
There may be another meaning here if Light = good and darkness = evil; then this may be God establishing clear lines between the two. We know that for example the Word of God (the Sword of the Spirit) divides asunder between soul and spirit. It divides between good and evil. It's a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.

But the meaning I want to focus on is about Jesus the Son of God and is spiritually discerned. This is "strong meat" rather than milk of the Word. (Hebrews 5:12)

So Genesis 1:4 is about the Light of Christ being separated from the darkness in the world until the time of His appearing. And by appearing, I mean His birth into the world. So of course there was a long time until Jesus came but we know that He was foreordained before the foundation of the world. (1 Peter 1:20) But was finally manifest in His appointed time. So He was finally revealed who was previously hidden with God. "The Word was with God and the Word was God."

Jesus being called the "day" is really interesting because we know that Jesus is the "bright and morning Star". This means when Jesus came into the world that was our spiritual dawn. Morning had come for the world. Jesus is also called the "day Star" (2 Peter 1:19) who is able to arise in our hearts. He is the "Sun of Righteousness" who has healing in His wings. (Malachi 4:2)

Genesis 1:4
4 God saw the light was good. So God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God named the light day, and the darkness he named night. There was evening, then morning - the first day.

So although the prophets from Moses until John the baptist had the mission to shine the Light of God in the world. And indeed they did a good job. (John 5:35) Yet the Light (who had been foreordained, foretold) had finally come into the world Himself who all these prophets had spoken of. (1 Peter 1:10-11) This was the manifestation of Jesus Christ who is the Almighty.

So you decide symbolic and literal application where you feel to, in an account that describes the creation of heaven and earth.
Okay.

God is a Spirit Himself and so we shouldn't be surprised that the very creation of the world is spiritual. We're flesh so we have a hard time seeing it.

Of course we can get off into false doctrines just blindly reinterpreting the Bible as we see fit. But strong meat is good for those who know how to discern between good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14) Once you know what is of God and what isn't. Then of course you can be led by God to understand the scriptures in a deeper way. God always has deeper meanings. God always has something else to show us. There are mysteries in the scriptures that are of God. Much of the new Testament writings of Paul for example are unveiling mysteries in the old Testament scriptures.

I don't recommend people new to the scriptures to just read them looking for esoteric meanings. So they can keep on the right course; they should get a solid grasp of the milk of the Word. But the Spirit of God will teach people things as they advance in learning and they need to be open to the Spirit of God. So that they can be skillful in the Word of righteousness. (Hebrews 5:13) Someone who has graduated from the milk and is looking for strong meat. I'm just pointing out what the Bible says about strong meat.

Anything I say that's like this. You don't have to believe me. Just take it the Lord in prayer. God is our Teacher.

But, if I asked 100 Christians on this forum to interpret, I would get probably 95 different interpretations. How do you know your interpretation is correct?
When I read any modern science book, it is clear, precise and understood by all. If there is any misunderstanding, it is revised, reissued and clarified.
That’s what happens when one treats metaphoric prose as factual science. There is no “correct” or “incorrect.” There is only “a possible, plausible interpretation based upon an exegesis of the text.”
