Why it is healthy to long for "The Reaper"

So, I went through this huge inner conflict over whether or not wanting to die young is healthy, and after much prayer and reflection, had an epiphany...yes, the people I meet in real life think it's unhealthy, and many people online do...

Well, that is because I'm not meeting spiritually minded people...If it were spiritual giants, the spiritually mature, Saints, mystics, Aghori Sadhus, prophets, Healers, Shamans, Medicine men, Jesus Christ, etc. they would totally understand it...

When we die, that is potentially a time to reunite with deceased loved ones and ancestors, unite with heroes who have gone to their eternal reward, a time for unity with God, a time for better health, greater joy, greater enlightenment, greater holiness and purity, greater understanding, freedom from suffering, beauty, gardens, mansions, treasures, and riches above (at least from a Biblical perspective)
etc...At least, that is Abrahamic Monotheism for kindergarteners (some of the basics regarding articles of our Faith)...

Who wouldn't want that?...Now, I have repeatedly discouraged anyone from attempting suicide...That is a sin that I believe to be offensive to God, supernatural heavenly beings, guardian Angels, Saints etc...and it really breaks the hearts of friends and family on earth. It can be a cowardly thing to do as well and very selfish and leave you permanently disabled, brain damaged, or crippled....NEVER try it!!!

That is not what I'll ever encourage or advocate...

But do you believe in God? Well, Death is a gift he gives to every single person...It is his plan for you, his will, your destiny...what's wrong with loving God's destiny and plan for us?o_O

Do you believe Jesus was God incarnate? Well, if you do, then you also realize that the best thing he did for us was die? When it was time for him to die, he spoke about it like it was a favor...he said "Now has the time come for the son of man to be glorified".

He didn't hang himself or commit suicide, but he did say "No one takes my life from me, I lay it down".

God willed that He would die young (Age 33).

Is it unhealthy to desire a young death? Should a person desire the alternative, getting old, deterioration of good looks, going senile, seeing more loved ones die, seeing more drama, incontinence, dementia, nursing homes, weakness, arthritis, sickness, surgery, loss of hearing, loss of sight, bowel movements, osteoporosis, gray hair, hair loss, body odor, cavities, clogged arteries, menopause, enlarged prostate, walkers, wheelchairs, hearing aides, and the list goes on and on and on....

I mean...the last thing I want to do is discourage you from that if that is your destiny and God's will
....but is it necessarily unhealthy to want to avoid that and have sooner unity with God, paradise, enlightenment, Celestial joy, interaction with redeemed, glorified, heavenly beings?

I had a lot of social interaction today and it was annoying, shallow, worldly, pointless, and that is what human beings here often talk about...stuff that simply won't matter 100 years from now...and has nothing to do with God, spiritual matters, growing in holiness, mysticism, gifts of the holy spirit etc...I don't care about that temporary, shallow, empty stuff... I used to, but it is all trash to me now...

I want unity with God, enlightenment, understanding, clarity, unity with Angels, Saints, and enlightened souls...I think I'll find more of that in Heaven or purgatory...

Yes, most people would say that is unhealthy, but most people are seeking their reward in this passing life...that isn't what a lot of Religions teach.

I think Jesus would totally see eye to eye with me:
John 12:25

"Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life."

He would tell people to give everything to the poor and store up no riches in this life but store up treasures for the next life and look forward to it...
Matthew 6:19-21
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ was painful, bloody, and humiliating, but if you are a Christian, you believe it was a good thing, right? It glorified him, atoned for our sins, redeemed the world, defeated Satan etc. therefore, the crucifixion of Christ was a good thing, correct? In fact, it just might have been the best thing that ever happened? ;) from Christian Theology/philosophy at least...

Sometimes, something really scary and ugly, can be very beautiful

If you are an atheist, disregard the post... your reward is in this life... I hope you find all the happiness you seek :)

Worldly people thought Jesus, John the Baptist, Francis of Assissi, saint Bernadette, Buddha, and so many Saints and mystics were mad (nuts)...

To those who are not spiritually advanced,

...Saints, Shamans, Prophets, Sadhus, medicine men/women, hermits, monks, nuns, or mediums from various religious traditions appear to be completely insane and delusional...

So, if everyone is telling you that what you long for is unhealthy, sick, or insane, consider the spiritual maturity and inclinations of the people who are making the criticisms.

Jesus and spiritual Giants might have a totally different view...

...the vast majority of folks out there aren't like that...

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
I dont love this life one bit. I love people in it. I dont believe in Jesus, but i cried when i saw the movies about his life and death. I can totally put myself in believers shoes, growing up christian. In a way it inspired me. There is a powerful message in it.

I really do want death, but on good terms. I dont judge suicidal people. Life is a bear. Suicide aint for me. And i do hope people do not do it and carry this thing out fighting for right.

For glory, for exaltation, some seem willing to pay the soul price. They do not adore God; they adore themselves.
They point at the saints, the prophets, anyone lauded as spiritually great and say, "I would be as them; I would be great!"
Do they adore the saints and the prophets or do they adore God? Nay, they adore themselves. That which they sow in secret, shall eventually be revealed.

Luke 22:39-46 (Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives)
Luke 22:42
"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."

Matthew 20:20-28 (A Mother's Request)
Matthew 20:22
"You don't know what you are asking," Jesus said to them. "Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?" "We can," they answered.
Matthew 20:23
Jesus said to them, "You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father."

“Death is a gift”?

PopeADope, the Bible calls death an “enemy”: 1 Corinthians 15:26

In John 11, Jesus actually cried when Lazarus died. It was not a joyous occasion!

Please, do not listen to any voice saying it is!

Best wishes to you.

Of course it's a gift...we are to hate this life and store up treasures in heaven... heaven is our home...

How did people thus far get there? They died...put two and two together...for people enjoying unity with God and loved ones, and "treasures in heaven", death was a great thing! ;)

Sorry, I tagged you too much lately...:p
Well, its cuz you are so influential. ;)

Something you said about the Aghori triggered a chain reaction of thoughts that lead to an epiphany :)

I realized that the people I was listening to to make me feel guilty, were worldly, materialistic, seek their reward in this life, spiritually dead, spiritually immature, or spiritual babies... not the right people to listen or let mentor me...that's great to suddenly realize

Storing up “treasures in heaven”, do you think it’s literal treasures? It has to do with praising God and putting His interests first, not our own. We can only do this while alive. — Psalms 115:17.

And the Earth Is our home, according to the Bible. — Psalms 115:16; Isaiah 45:18.
One day, the Earth and everything on it will be perfect! — Revelation 21:3-5...”tent of God is with mankind...death will be no more.”

I hope you read the Scriptures I posted.
Take care, my cousin.

You read the scriptures and take them out of context...

God has destined you, me, and everyone to die...he speaks of a better life and "mansions" after death...

If death were terrible...why would he want everyone to go through it?o_O

...he speaks of despising this life...and talks about the next life quite a lot...

Your views really don't sound very christian at times...

"want to be rid of them"
and
"long for the next life"

are different things.

Be certain that you are not running away from now, while running towards then.

I appreciate your friendly responses. I mean, they’re not nasty, as some others would have been. So thanks!

I know! They do not agree with mainstream Christian thinking. I find that most accepted Christian beliefs are not supported by the Biblical context, only interpreting selected verses that ignore other passages.

That’s sad, but it was prophesied. —Acts of the Apostles 20:29-30; 2 Timothy 4:3, etc.

Jesus said as much. — Matthew 7:21-23.

Why? Because this world is under Satan’s control (1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9, “misleading the entire inhabited Earth” [quite a conspiracy, eh?])....for the time being, until Revelation 21:1-5 gets fulfilled. It’s coming!

It’s late here, I’ll say goodnight for now!
