What is the difference between knowing God and believing in God?
Does the former require an experience in which you have actually encountered God and the latter having not experience but only having faith in His existence based on what you've read or have been told?
What does it take to know God?
If you know God, is faith and belief no longer a requirement? Please explain why or why not.
For those of you who claim to know God, please elaborate on how you know Him.
Disclaimer: The intent of this thread is not to ask someone to present evidence of God. While someone may claim to have knowledge of God, I would ask that you please do not ask them to present to you evidence of this knowledge. I posted this in a debate venue to encourage friendly debate, but harassment in the form of goading someone to present evidence of God will not be tolerated, as there are other threads in RF currently discussing this.
