I believe that the above is totally wrong. I believe that Muhammad was the most peaceful and peace promoting person ever born in this world.One should read Quran, from cover to cover to realize this , and Quran is the first and the foremost source of Islam , whatever the denomination, please.

There is nothing in Quran/Islam/Muhammad to occupy lands, it is to purify oneself ethically, morally and spiritually to get nearness to G-d. The conquests were done by persons who never represented Quran/Islam/Muhammad, please.

But they would say different, Paar. Notice how he said 'The sword of Islam was washed in the blood of the infidels.' Just because you personally belong to a more peaceful branch of Islam doesn't mean you can deny that the other violent branches exist. That is like claiming if you got angry and hurt someone, that it wasn't the 'real' you acting.

The fact of the matter is that these brutal invasions are called 'Islamic' for a reason.

He was the most peaceful person? I have trouble believing it along with rest of the civilised world. Muhammad was the only "Prophet" or Messiah to take part in war Military career of Muhammad - Wikipedia

Muhammad ordered beheading of Jews who refused to convert to Islam. He demonstrated to his followers .. that conquest is a valid way to spread Islam.

Can you imagine Christ on a horseback, sword in hand ordering prisoners to be beheaded if they did not become Christian?

Muslims cannot live in peace .. not with Christians to their west or Hindus to their east.

To quote Sam Harris "Islam is the mother lode of bad ideas."
