Could you provide me the scriptures you are referring to, and why you believe what you do?
What I see is when he comes back it's with flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel. In Matt. 25:31-46 when he returns he judges the people.
He said when he came back his reward was with him.

2 Peter 3:10
'But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up"
What do you consider the works that are burned up.
The works is everything that has sin in it.

Right, you repeat a scripture I already gave that verifies my point, but give no scripture to prove your point. Heaven and earth will pass away, as the word says. Peter said all these things shall be dissolved.
Where is your scripture that proves houses, and cars, and trees, and everything else will not be burned up? Where is your proof that it is an earth age and not a new earth? That's what I am talking about - you make statements and give no scriptural proof to back them up.

Let me ask you a few questions, but first read 2 Timothy 4:1, Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 22:12, 1 Corinthians 15:22-23, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16
Is the Messiah's return at the last Trump?
Aren't the dead raised at his return?
Is he not going to judge at his return?
Is there any more time after the last Trump?
I believe the Bible teaches the final goal of the redeemed is eternity in the presence of God in a resurrected body in the yet-future utopian new heavens and new earth.
