Since we dream, how is death simular to sleep? Death, all functions cease.
What inner reason lets you know there is, not may be, an afterlife?
If you were told and you believed it, what prompt you to trust inwardly that what you were told (by society? By religion? By upbringing? By experience?) or read is inwardly true?
Do you, those who believe the afterlife, feel that belief is inherited in all human beings?
I was never taught about the afterlife; I never believed it. I know it makes sense for many to believe one, but it didnt hit me until my grandmother died and my aunt this jan. I never had an inner sense in the afterlife. They were close to me, my aunt was my best friend, and she passed on. Shes not here. Gone. I learned this by observation and reflection on myself and my environment.
I saw a pattern in society that is not all based on religion that there is some need to keep our loved ones alive: we do so by prayer. Meditation. Going to our loved ones graves. Putting pictures and photo albums up. Dance in grief rituals. Ask for protection of spirit. Among many religious, cultural, and/or personal reasons.
I dont believe the afterlife is inherited. Maybe Im part of the ten percent who believes this; but, without bias influence and harsh religious feelings, the concept of it never made sense.
Take rebirth. It make sense to where Id almost consider it fact. We are one state of being and our awareness, as so says, continues via attachment to this life (our deluted mind). When there is no more attachment, we die. Its not an afterlife but a continuation of life. This makes sense but is it true....I never believed it inheritly. It makes sense intellectually but by heart I feel this is it.
We dont need an afterlife to have purpose. We dont need to join in god, take away attachment, or be with god to have purpose. But many believe in the afterlife because of this too, among societal reasons excluding religion.

Did you ever know before coming to earth that you'll?
The creator says that as we brought you the first time we'll do it the 2nd time.
The creator says not only you but even your finger tips will be the same which means having the same fingerprints.
No. That doesnt align with how I see reality.
I dont understand how this relates to my OP?
I believe it's serious and not just the work of nature.
if you ask for evidence for what will be next, no one will give you any.
I based my opinion according to verses from the quran which doesn't necessarily work with you.
