Slavery was a choice

Another ignorant fallacy "to talk about racism is being racist" is a common deflection that a lot of white supremacists use just like "anti-racism is anti-white" or and this is my favorite "multi-culturalism is white genocide"

Oh the logic of the supposed high IQ "master race."
LOL.

Thank you for putting the exclamation point on my post. "Supposed master race"? You were just 'talking about race'? And /I/ am the racist? (The guy that hasn't mentioned it?)

Do tell, what did you mean by they'd be living in mud huts?

Your opinions, at least we know you have lots of them.

Moving goalposts to cover for your ignorant statements is all par course I guess.

Would it be easier if I put trigger warnings on all of my posts?

So I wonder if any of you are going to get around to actually arguing against the statement that blacks in America today are better off because of slavery, or if being mad at it and name calling are all you folks can do. (Rhetorical, I know the answer)

Yet you originally said that I'm better off because I don't have flies on my face......Also you said that I have opportunity to go back to Africa is it not what you said prior to me saying this?

Yup, I sure did. This is a matter of socioeconomics not race. And yes, I made that suggestion. It seemed the logical one as you were lamenting for your abducted ancestors. If you truly feel your life would be better in, your words "the richest continent on Earth"(lolwat), there's nothing stopping you from remedying that.

Unless you just enjoy complaining?

Now this is sick....This is when Van checked him....

@sandy whitelinger @PopeADope @Sunstone

I want everyone who thinks that blacks don't care about black crime I hope they see this....Van is spot on!

This is a quote from someone supposedly close to the situation.

“Kanye is the most amazing person when he’s not acting like this. But when he gets manic, it’s really hard for everyone around him,” the source said. “Kim is absolutely worried about him right now, but she will defend him publicly to the end. She’s a very loyal wife, and her tweets and everything she’s been saying is definitely very calculated to help Kanye.”

Again, I'm just holding off judgement. I was never a fan of Kanye or his music before this. I'm still not a fan... But I take mental illness very serious. When I'm not sure of the whole picture, I just wait... That's all there is.

I do thank you for sharing the YouTube on Kanye's rant.

I was very impressed with the thoughtful, articulate, and apparently educated fella who put him in check and corrected him.

It did seem like Kanye was narcissistic, manic, and didn't have anything worthwhile to say

much of Africa is in a hellish pit of misery, agony, hunger, thirst, ignorance, violence, displacement, and death.
I started a thread on it:
(Africa) As Americans are getting fatter

Why would anyone bother arguing against some crazy what if scenario. America as successful as it is because of the labor and exploitation of black people. But for this, America would have failed as a country and none of us would have been born. We should be thankful to America's forefathers even more so because of the suffering and exploitation that they endured so we can exist today. I can think of no Americans who have paid a higher price than the black Americans and the Native Americans of Early America.

Instead of thinking about ways to insult people, why not talk about the matter at hand? Are you really that afraid that people call you out on you parroting memes in oneliners as bs?

Would it be easier if I put trigger warnings on all of my posts?
Try to use reason more in your posts and think less in terms of silly memes like "trigger warnings".

No no, it's well reasoned. They love bigoted rednecks where I live.
I'm not a redneck or hillbilly. I would bet anything I am more familiar with Black Culture than you or the vast majority of white people ever will be.

I have been in plenty jails, homeless shelters, group homes, and lived in ghettos, where a high percent of the population is African-American, and many are on welfare, Section 8 housing, and food stamps, while hundreds of millions of people in Africa suffer with finding clean drinking water.

Pointing out that some of these people are better off as a result of their ancestors being brought here, is simply an observation, with a lot of historical facts and links to support it.

It has nothing to do with racism. It's just I'm not going to deny that the sky is blue, even if it is politically correct to say the sky is green.

There are many black people that I consider better people, and better for society, than myself, I wish I would have been more like @Epic Beard Man and got a degree... (I dropped out of college after getting 25 credits)... therefore, I'm not going to despise anyone based on their skin color or ethnicity. Once again, I have knowledge that there are black people that have the virtues that I wish I had, and are simply better people and better for society than I am, or a lot of white people for that matter. Therefore, I'm not racist.

I believe people should be judged by their behavior, not their ethnicity

So you're familiar with what folks in prison think. Ever thought that people in prison might not be fully representative of any group?
