Scientific Evidence That Islam is the true religion

Mozart wrote "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" approximately 200 years before Sesame Street was even pitched, and yet they used the tune for The Alphabet Song. This proves without question that Sesame Street was revealed to Mozart by God.

Oh, I wish I was joking.

Yep, for people to claim otherwise is to insult their own ancestor's intelligence and ability to perceive the world around them. If they weren't intelligent or perceptive enough to know what a miscarriage meant and looked like, since I'm sure it was a very common occurence, then why are the writings of someone from that period so revered?
i am sorry from what period are you refering i am refering to at least two thousand years or more before the advent of Isalm

My mistake, I was refering to the time of the writing of the Kuran, but my comment still works for the time period you were refering to. The Torah had already been written by that time, as well as many other religious text

Possibly. If the Torah was wrtiten by moses, that puts it 1,300-1,600 BCE, so at most 2100 years before the Quran.

OTOH, the Torah doesn't say what he said so it's moot.

i've seen these "scientific facts" posted and re-posted so many times it's kind of boring.

i'm more inspired by seeing Muslims live out their faith in affirmation, freedom, and peace than i am by seeing these tired verses / those pictures of the "salaat tree".

Yup. It constantly amazes me when people argue "how could they have known? that proves there was...." Divine revelation, or extraterrestrials, or fill in the blank. ancient peoples did not have electron microscopes and the internet, but they were no more stupid than we are now. They observed their world and made educated guesses and figured things out, which is how we got to where we are.

This is how most religions were started, explanations of things people did not understand.

I was under the assumption that Islam was the SAME religion that was revealed by Abraham to the Jews, by Jesus to the gentiles, and by Muhammed to the Arabs. How can you claim its the TRUE religion when it is really just an offshoot of a much older religion? As for you "scientific evidence", there has been more knowledge lost and forgotten on this planet then one person can comprehend, so to claim that you know what people that lived many generations before your own had knowledge of and what they didn't is just plain ignorant.

Because it is the religion that was preached since Adam to Mohammed peace be upon them. Jesus never preached for the trinity for example (Islamic point of view) so he never really preached for the type of Christianity that is todays Christianity, he preached for the belief and sumbition to one God (Islams message).
I dont know if I made my point clear or I just got you more confused :p

I hope u check this link and tell me what is boring in it
actually, it seems very interesting to me, that a book from 1400 years could have predicted those things

and if u are not a scientist ( or a specialist) , u can make sure of that by asking scientists about it
when we are talking about hell and paradise
I think the issue deserves a little effort from u

because if the Islam was the final true religion as muslims believe
I am not sure what will u look like , in the day of judgement

Circular support. The Quran says that people said that the Quran is true. If you want to convince a Christian based on Yeshua's teachings, you will have to use a source he already accepts.

You mean where the quran says the we were formed of clay (we liekly formed in seawater)? Or do you mean the part where we were formed from a blod-clot (platelets do not a baby make)?

frankly maro, i find it boring. i don't care. heck, you could tell the the Quran gives urrefutable proof of the theory of reletivity and i wouldn't do much blinking.

what inspires me to look kindly upon Islam is not muslims pulling Quran verses out of a hat. what impresses me is muslims' piety, tollerance, and ability to live out their faith positively in a world where it can be much easier to do just the opposite.

ah yes........and the Q'uran also claims that the sun sets in a steamy mud bog...that mountains are "nailed" to the earth.......gee.............science? I do not for a second believe it to be "science"

I have been "checking" their math (as any good mathematican should do) and it is actually completely wrong... They fudge their numbers to obtain the numbers they want. It isn't very obvious the way they fudge their numbers though... A quick example of how they fudge their numbers in the first two claims is:

Lets say I divide 1 day by 5 seconds.... We should get 1/5 days/seconds... On this site, however, they always drop the days/second part... Then when they do the computation they randomly stick on whatever measurements they want...

This would be more impressive if the math was done without cheating...

The above is for claim 1 and 2... Claim three does some impressive "magician" work... They start making their claim, then half way through proving it, they prove some other thing, then when they get back to their main proof they hope you forgot some things... The Quran says 1 day on earth is like 1000 years in heaven and hell (more evidence apparently for time dilation and general relativity and what not)... Then after this they prove some other stuff that I don't think I should have to disprove =p, then when they get back to the proof they state that the Quran knew about general relativity because heaven is bigger than hell which is bigger than the earth. This would work only if heaven and hell had different times... Since they have the same time, this doesn't work.

Claim 4 about the Quran predicting pulsars and black holes is the same as any other claim from any other religious book... No math, just looking at the words and interpreting too much from them.

Claim that the Quran predicted worm holes... Same as the above...

Claim that the Quran predicted dark matter and gravitational lensing same as above... Quick note on dark matter though... This is a huge scientific guess... From the laws we have observed scientists realize that there is not enough mass in the galaxy to make it work the way it does... So they decided there is mass we cannot see, we call it dark matter. (I actually read a creationist scientific paper that reports the dark matter is likely the hand of god).... Just noting that as more discveries are made the description of dark matter will likely change and the explanation given here by the Quran will have to change =p

So, in short... All of the math on this site is fudged to suit the creators needs and the rest of the explanations are the same as any other religious site trying to prove their religious book with science.

actually I am a medical student and not a good mathematican as you are
that's why I am sure that the embryological stages mentioned in the quran are very accurate description
but I don't claim that I am sure about the Maths in this link
so if they were not accurate as u say , May Allah forgive me for that

I hope a muslim who is good in maths, may check that and tell me

It seems alot of this "evidence" is either gathered through ignorance or people are trying to mislead others...
www.answering-christianity.com/sci_quran.htm
Here it claims that the cat's eye nebula is red and it shows that the Quran passage that says when galaxies explode they become red is right...
http://www.astro.washington.edu/balick/WFPC2/catseye.jpeg
This seems to be the same picture used before except this shows the Cat's Eye Nebula to be green! Gasp! Oh wait, science colors the pictures themselves... Its not to mislead or anything, they use colors to represent certain things... In the green picture shows the doubly ionized oxygen, blue represents neutral oxygen and red shows the location of slightly ionized atoms... It seems in the picture the Islam site was hand picked because it showed the doubly ionized oxygen as red instead of green so it fits their passage....

How about this: Instead of hurling websites, someone here who wishes to assert that the Quran clearly knows something that it clarly should not know give a single example (perhaps two) and defend it?

So, what is your absolute best argument?

Show me these verses please..... I havent read them, and I'm not calling you a liar in any way... I just want to see these verses you speak of... because I know in the scientific books I've read that are in regards to Islam... speaking of pegs in the ground and the pegs splitting to create the mountains was actually a scientific truth to the creation of mountains... which is in the Quran. As for the sun setting in a steamy mud bog.. I don't even know what that is, and I've never read that in the Quran. So if you could show me these verses I'd appreciate it.

Peace and Blessings
