Do most prophets mainly speak or write. Any other writing prophets besides Haggai?

Mostly speaking I think. Usually went something like this: Crazy, smelly guy suffering from dehydration and possible heat stroke stumbles out of the desert mumbling something along the lines of "Thus said the Lord", People listened...and then people died.
Isaiah 8:1
Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
Jeremiah 30:2
Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
Habakkuk 2:2
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

It's just a way of saying that he was the medium through which they received the prophecy. Same thing as in Malachi 1:1. The prophecy is going through the prophet to someone.
"...the word of G-d in the hand of (ie. through) Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel..."
"...the word of G-d to Israel in the hand of (ie through) Malachi"

Well then you're not good at 'noticing' because I quoted to you a verse from Malachi where it's used as well, in my previous response...

I stand corrected, yes it was used of Malachi as well I checked some translations but Young's literal translation I see also has 'by the hand of' for Malachi in Mal 1:1

However I do notice that different prophets have different emphasis in how they delivered the message.... Habakkuk mentions visions... Isaiah has his mouth cleansed... and prophets did write and/or speak...
