Bill Clinton provided the funding for North Korea to produce their weapons, and sell their technology to Iran. Hillary Clinton provided the Uranium (Uranium One deal) through the agency of Russia, to supply Iran with uranium. Obama provided the funding for Iran to pay for the uranium, to continue on their course of developing their nuclear capability and for purchasing weapons for Hezbollah . The result will be the “capture” of “Jerusalem”, and the “day of the LORD” (Zechariah 14:1-3) & (Revelation 16:16), also known as Har-Magedon. And some people thought Obama and Clintons were worthless.

How do you know this doesn't refer to the Muslim conquest, or the Christian crusades?

It we're talking about the establishment of Israel in '48, wouldn't it make more sense to look at the stated motivations of the Arab states, their objections to the British mandate and claim to the former Otoman territories?

You might want to actually read the Law and the prophets. Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD, and the Jews scattered. The Jews and the house of Israel, Ephraim, remained under the crushing judgment (Hosea 5:10-11) of the LORD until 1948 (Daniel 12:7). An example being the reign of Hitler and the Spanish Inquistition. The house of Israel remains scattered among the nations still (Ez 36:24). Judah and Jerusalem were not fully restored until 1967 (Hosea 3:1).

The Ottomans, the clay, and their allies, the Germans, the iron (Daniel 2:34), lost their battle to the British at the 1917 battle of Meggido. Edom and the Ishmaelites (Psalms 83), also the clay, were also defeated along with their Russian allies (iron) of Daniel 2:33, were crushed 50 years later in 1967. The next crushing of all the kingdoms of Daniel 2:35, will be done at the same time. Except for the gathering of the nations against Jerusalem, the accord against Israel, signed by 120 nations in January of 2016, prompted by Obama, the only thing resembling Zechariah 14, is Zechariah 14:12, which is the description of the carnage, which parallels the description taken from the book Hiroshema.

Given how Israel supposedly formed in the first place (in ancient times), with war and genocide, why is this not expected? I mean, I am not seriously blaming "Jews" for the hostility. However, when you are being run by a government hell-bent on wiping the people who lived there before you off the map, it breeds a bit of hostility.
