A rare occurence from God

Thief

Rogue Theologian
It is a battle everyday for everyone to defeat their flesh. Many reason falsely and give in easily-Jeremiah 17:9)--Not all calling on the name of the Lord will be saved.( Matt 7:21-23)--Yet they believe. They believe Jesus died for them, they believe they are saved, told they are saved or born again. yet hear those words from Jesus at 22,23 at judgement. Jesus says many. It is wise to LOOK carefully.
I see an undertow in your words....

I suspect you are going to drown

You have no proof that the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses isn't a wolf pack masquerading as sheep. You just don't!

all will see.

There's no need to wait KJW because we have already seen. Here's a quick list from CARM:

IDENTIFYING THE "PROPHET"--"So does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come? These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet? . . . This "prophet" was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah's Christian Witnesses . . . Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a 'prophet' of God. It is another thing to prove it," (Watchtower, Apr. 1, 1972, p. 197). (See Deut. 18:21.)

  • 1897 "Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present, since October 1874," (Studies in the Scriptures, vol. 4, p. 621).
  • 1899 " . . . the 'battle of the great day of God Almighty' (Revelation 16:14), which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership, is already commenced," (The Time Is at Hand, 1908 edition, p. 101).
  • 1916 "The Bible chronology herein presented shows that the six great 1000 year days beginning with Adam are ended, and that the great 7th Day, the 1000 years of Christ's Reign, began in 1873," (The Time Is at Hand, forward, p. ii).
  • 1918 "Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection," (Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p. 89).
  • 1922 "The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914," (Watchtower, Sept. 1, 1922, p. 262).
  • 1923 "Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge," (Watchtower, Apr. 1, 1923, p. 106).
  • 1925 "The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year," (Watchtower, Jan. 1, 1925, p. 3).
  • 1925 "It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work," (Watchtower, Sept., 1925, p. 262).
  • 1926 "Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that the friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything," (Watchtower, p. 232).
  • 1931 "There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah's faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time . . . and they also learned to quit fixing dates," (Vindication, p. 338).
  • 1941 "Receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the Lord's provided instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before Armageddon," (Watchtower, Sept. 15, 1941, p. 288).
  • 1968 "True, there have been those in times past who predicted an 'end to the world', even announcing a specific date. Yet nothing happened. The 'end' did not come. They were guilty of false prophesying. Why? What was missing? . . . Missing from such people were God's truths and evidence that he was using and guiding them," (Awake, Oct. 8, 1968).
  • 1968 "Why are you looking forward to 1975?" (Watchtower, Aug. 15, 1968, p. 494).
Spiritual teachers are held to a higher standard:

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. (James 3:1)

But a prophet must meet the highest standards of all. They cannot presume to speak something God never asked them to say, else they are deemed a false prophet. There is no room for error:

"If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him." (Deuteronomy 18:22)

Perhaps you can tell us the difference between the "prophets" of the Watchtower and the false prophets of Israel:

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts: ‘Hear the word of the Lord!’ Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! ... They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word. Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said, ‘Declares the Lord,’ although I have not spoken?”

Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Because you have uttered falsehood and seen lying visions, therefore behold, I am against you, declares the Lord God. My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. (Ezekiel 13: 1-9)

Who's these verses speaking of kjw47?

Acts 4:12 (ESV Strong's) 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Ephesians 1:20-21 (ESV Strong's) 0 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

Philippians 2:9-10 (ESV Strong's) Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

Does that mean, every name but one, in your mind?

Yes the name Jesus- MADE great by YHWH. ( Acts 2:22-- because YHWH did it all through Jesus, that is how the name Jesus was made to be above other names.Yes bow in obeisance to our king-But God is always greater than him.

That doesn't really answer my question. The fact is you've been told who the Father is by your teachers. Sorry but you say you know who the Father is; but Jesus hasn't shown you. So you cannot know who the Father is.

Do you live on earth? Jesus appointed those teachers--means it is Gods will they share truths about him. Jesus shares through his teachers-Matt 24:45

The apostates at Carm ran when they couldn't answer what Jesus taught and it blew all their reasonings to bits.

A false prophecy = never occurs-- Har-mageddon will occur-God made the prophecy of Har-mageddon--it is not a false prophecy like apostates try to say. Trying to date a real prophecy was the error made.

Matt 24:45--- I listened to these

That doesnt answer the question.

44For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. 45Who then is thefaithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food atthe proper time? 46Blessed is that servant whose master returns and finds him doing his job.…

Why 1% out of 100 is saved?

How are you the only one out of the 99% of people who "dont know christ?

I cannot guess your point.

Scripture

Does not

a false Christ is being taught by the majority of religions claiming to be Christian. There is no trinity god in existence.

Well, since they use the Bible as their source, ...

It's about "interpretation", which your JW leaders do as well. To call their approach to be a "false Christ" is just so "missing the mark", which is the definition of "sin".

Can you add 1+1--- your post shows you cannot understand English.
If someone came later (even Jesus Christ himself!) and they or he taught something even truer that your "real teachers" do, you would not listen to them or even to Jesus himself. And why not? Because it is against governing body law to listen to anyone else!

Why do you think you are not part of the 99% of people who claim to be real christians? Non trinitarians are not unique.

a false Christ is being taught by the majority of religions claiming to be Christian. There is no trinity god in existence.

99% of people dont all believe in the trinity.

1% are not people who dont believe in the trinity.

I do not know where you got these numbers but you are Not special.

If you dont believe in the divinity of christ, who are you worshiping as a Christian?

Can a human "like you and I" save you?

What is special about jesus?

Again. How are you out of all christians the only true christians?

I was a christian.
I was Catholic.
I believed in the trinity.

But I know how Catholics see it more personally than in books and bias. Totally different point of view.

Being a non-trinitian doesnt make you unique.

@kjw47 Please take a minute or two to meditate on Matthew 24:48.

Why would Jesus set up the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses to teach the only salvation and then warn us that they may turn to wickedness????????

Think about this. It is written that he who is set up over all God's people might finally fear that The Master delays coming and he might turn on God's people for some reason or other. And, your "real teachers" have said that he is coming for over a hundred years now. Most people can rightly say that is a delay. According to the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses, Jesus' coming is DELAYED so, therefore, your group is better defined by Matthew 24:48-51 than it is now by Matthew 24:45.

a false Christ is being taught by the majority of religions claiming to be Christian. There is no trinity god in existence.

How are you part of the 1% and everyone else part of the 99%?

It is a bold claim to say you are the only who believes in the real jesus.

The trinity means unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Father being the creator. Son being the savior. Holy Spirit being the spirit of christ at the pentacoast.

The relation-ship between the three of them is their divinity. The Father being the creator. The Son speaking for the Creator. The Holy Spirit moving people towards Christ as a result to the Creator. The trinity starts with the Creator, through the son, by the holy spirit. They are one in unison; in unity; in relationship.

Without that relationship between father, son, and holy spirit, there is no christianity. No trinity no christianity.

What jesus are you worshiping if he has no relationship with his father and no spirit to save people who believe in his father through christ?

Have you ever experienced the relationship between father, son, and holy spirit?

You're not answering my questions.

What makes you part of the 1% and all fake christians 99%?
Where did you get those numbers; and, how do you know everyone's relationship with christ based on what you know of christianity as a whole?

That's a huge generalization. Just as calling JW not christians. They are. Just ya'll got a different view on the trinity that's not shared by most christians. People.

Not religion.

People.

@Carlita The Jehovah's Witnesses are being taught that there are only two groups of people. Matthew 25:31-46 describes them. They believe that their governing body members are Jesus' brothers that if and only if you do good to them* you will be considered worthy by God for everlasting life. The only other result is your destruction. You are either for them and you will get life from Jehovah or you aren't for them and you will be destroyed.

*to do good to them means that you listen to them and obey whatever you can that they tell you.

That is how he is getting his numbers. There are approximately seven billion people, but only seven million Jehovah's Witnesses.
