The Prophet Muhammad's lost message

@Sakeenah I'd like your input on this thouroughly as well as other Muslims regarding this matter. My question is, is there more being done in the mosques, in the community?

In the name of God, the merciful and infinitely compassionate

As'Salaamu Alaikum to my Muslim friends. I wanted to impart a video to you regarding a Muslim couple and implore you to watch and give me your thoughts. It would seem that the Prophet Muhammad (May God's blessings be upon him), message on Mount Arafat was lost and even today it is continually lost amidst the cultural bindings of our time. I begin the thread with the following:

"All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; a white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves."

This kind of thing is not limited to any religion or race.
It’s a human thing.
Evil at its core.

See my thread on evil.
All those people who gave the couple a hard time have no true knowledge of Allah.

I pray that the couple have a blessed life together.

I wouldn't go to the extent of categorizing as evil per se, but the loaded gun thing was evil, I mean to take someone's life for the marital choices they've made is evil.

I used to think evil meant something really bad.
I now think it is merely a synonym of sin.
Which would mean a person telling a lie would be in evil.
Just my way of looking at it.

That's really sad, the prophet's message was very clear, it's the morals and not the colors.
some white are bad and some black are bad, so we should look to morality.

I wish if I can speak more, but English still not easy for me.

One saying of the prophet that Islam will be lost again and Muslims will be back to the
age of ignorance after a period of prosperity during the Islamic revolution, and we are
living these days, the prophet said that a real Muslim will be living in hardness as holding
a burning stone and that's near the end of time, it's our time, the time of evil and I believe we should
take the prophet's message seriously, he said it's a serious matter, don't follow the evil's way.

This will be the eventual fate of most if not all religions in the future. It is not about what we know in the future but what we do now.

I don't think the beautiful message on Mount Arafah has been entirely lost. The amount of Interracial couples within Muslim communities is growing. Especially among Muslims in the West. I know quite a few Arab-black couples.

Racism, tribalism has afflicted all human societies in every time period, including Muslim societies.
Sadly there is racism within the Arab communities towards black people ( in regards to marriage). I believe this has very little to do with religion but more with culture and arrogance. If the girl was black, and the guy Arab there would be less of a problem. Culturally, Arabs see their daughter as part of their honour, so her marrying a black man is seen as a disgrace. Because they think black people have a lower status. Not all Arabs are like this, I have noticed that it's mostly those that are very cultural. I think more can be done in the mosques and communities, it's important to make people(especially the older generation who are still very cultural) aware that this against our religion.

Their story is heart breaking and what her family did is against the teachings of Islam.Islam rejects all forms of tribalism, racism, bigotry, and collective punishment.
I'm glad that they didn't give up, and I ask Allah to bless their marriage. May Allah increase their love and keep them protected.
